I know that North Face has wonderful boots they run about 55.00. My daughter is 6 and has a pair of them and her feet does not get cold at all. But I do not think they sell them in her size. You may want to try Columbia Boots or ULG for about 70.00 or something like that. I hope this helps. good luck

I can't say enough wonderful things about Alamo Shoes on Clark St. (at Summerdale) in Andersonville. Buying the right type of shoe/boot for young ones is so important, especially as their feet are developing - my boys are a bit older (5 & 8) but since discovering this store I won't buy their footwear anyplace else.

Good luck!

I agree with Lands End or LL Bean for winter gear for kids. More $, but definitely durable and warm and DRY. My daughter has also worn Timberlands, which are not snow boots, but are great for everyday walking to and from the car adn whatever else, if she's not out playing in the snow. They're also waterproof and warm and easy for her to walk in as opposed to snow boots. They're good in the wet spring weather as well.

I've learned over the years that you get what you pay for with boots and winter coats. Not that you need to spend a lot, but the Kmart/Target stuff just doesn't hold up at all. For my boys, I usually go with Lands End boots. They have easy velcro fasteners that hold up to repeated fastenings, unlike some brands.

I just bought my daughter the cutest Timberland's. They carry snow boots now. They are so easy to get on and off, no hassle at all. She loves to put them on and just walk around.
