There are many options at target.com. They have those ones that clip on the table and I think they have those ones that sit on the chair. Try that and I hope you find something! Goood Luck!
I am trying to find a booster that really works for a 2 yr old girl. Not one that has a tray but onne that simply makes her a little taller if it has a tray option that's great I just want it to fit under my table when in dinning chairs? Any suggestions? I need her high chair for my son...

For one of my child care kids I use a little stool with a rubber anti-skid base from Ikea on a chair! It's perfect. It cost $3.99.
we have a great one that just fasens down to a regular chair I cant think of the actull name something about a space saver it is made by fisherpriece and like I said it is very small adn it just fasens down to a naromal cahir adn it dose coem with a tray adn I know wall mart and I do belive K-mart cary then adn they are very inexpensive only around $40
I have the Safety First Fold N Go Booster, it was $20 at Babies R Us. My 3yo uses it without the tray as a booster and my 1yo has never used a high chair, just the booster with the tray. They're easy to keep clean, portable, and don't take up any extra room.
We use a First Years booster that may be listed under travel since it does fold up but is excellent. Just the right height for the table and still has plenty of security straps. I believe we did get it at Target.
Have you seen those things that boost the whole chair? I think it's called Kaboost and they go under the legs of the chair, so you can use them on any chair and they are really portable. They sell it at Tottini or you can google them.
Hey there is a great one at shopko on the south hill. It is a highchair and booster in one. I think it is $50 or more but cute and green so it would work for your son later.
Good Luck
Safety 1st makes a booster with a removable tray and seat belt. I used one when my guys were toddlers and it worked well.
I use a booster seat called Cooshie. It's awesome! No tray no straps. It's made from a type of foam so it's really comfortable and the surface of it is no-slip so you don't have to strap it to the chair. It's a little expensive but I think it's worth it. You can usually find them on ebay and craigslist too. Or if you buy one new you'd have no problem selling it on either of those sites if you wanted to (when you're done with it of course).
We use the Baby Smart Cooshie Boosters for our twins. We got them through One Step Ahead. I switched them over from strap in booster things at 22 months (we used these instead of high chairs because we have such a tiny house) We love them and now if someone else is here for dinner the boosters can easily be removed with out the hassle of buckles and such. A bonus is that when our littlest is fussy I can put one on the carpet for her to sit on. She loves to play in them and they keep her busy forever!!
We bought a couple of different ones for our little ones. We went with the "travel" kind that strap to a normal chair. I think they were either Fisher Price or Safety First brand. Anyway, we went to Amazon.com and did a search, and then compared reviews before deciding which we wanted. Both of the ones we bought have removable trays, and have been really durable, and break down easily to wash.
Hope this helps!

We use a cheap blue, green and white booster that we got at Target. It works for us, but is not the most attractive. We can either use the tray or just put her in the chair and slide her up to the table when our meals are less messy.
Another option if you're willing to spend more and want something that looks really nice is the Stokke chairs. I've been wanting one forever. They are expensive, but they resale well.
I got one at Target for about $15 and just don't use the tray that came with it.
Try going to onestepahead.com - they have booster "cushions" there that are just for that!
you will have to measure your table and chair space. on our old table we used a grey one from target that the chair could raise and lower and it fit under our table. now we have one of the cheap plastic ones that fold to take with you but it works great and fits under our new table.
I bought the fisher price healthy care booster for about $20. I have used it since my son was 18 months either at the bar or at our table and have had not problems with it. It has three adjustments. The tray is removable. My son still uses it and he is 3. You can find them at target.com.
We had a booster seat and it just didn't work. We just recently bought a Kaboost that I noticed many moms had recommended. It's amazing and my daughter loves it. She calls it her big girl Kaboost. It fits on the chair legs very easily and lifts the chair up so she can reach the table better. The only thing is that she has to climb up onto the chair or we have to help her up as it's quite a bit taller. The great thing is that the Kaboost has two different lift levels. Turn it on one side and it's higher, turn it over and it's lower. My daughter is almost 3.
It's been a worthwhile purchase at 34.99.
Good luck.

Walmart has a little blue booster with an aqua seat that works great. Straps to a chair and fits under the dining table. I think it cost about 10 bucks.
I just got the Coshee Booster for my 3 y.o. daughter. I like it b/c it's easy, soft, and more cushiony than other boosters.

Hi C.,
When my daughter was about that age, I bought her a Cooshie Booster, which is available at amazon.com, toysrus.com, etc. It's made completely of foam, but is totally wipeable, and comes in quite a few colors. It also comes with a carrying case. I used to take it with me whenever we'd go out to dinner so she wouldn't have to use those gross restaurant boosters! It raised her up about 3", which wasn't quite enough when she was 2, but she always liked to sit on her knees, anyway, and the booster is soft enough to do that comfortably. I hope this is helpful! :o)
We didn't use a booster seat. We went to IKEA and bought a kids chair for the table. The seat is higher and smaller than a regular chair. My now 4 year old is still sitting at it. For my son we used another IKEA Product it was their $10 Step stool. That worked well because He would sit on the top step and he could rest his feet on the bottom step. Can you imagine sitting and eating with your legs dangling in the air?
The only thing about the step stool was that it didn't have a back.
Those are some things that worked for my family, hope it helps
I got the Fisher Price Safari Booster Seat, it does come with a tray option and has a pull out toy insert in the tray. It also adjustable to 3 heights and has straps to put it on the chair from the back and underneath. So the non skid bottom and straps make sure they not going to slip slide the booster out of the chair. I looked for months for a seat like this and finally bought it online at www.walmart.com. It also fold s up for taking it on the go and the straps turn into the carrying straps for you. Well made, sturdy and mobile! Good Luck!

My now 3 year old uses a Cooshie seat. They sell them at BRU for around $25 I think. At 2, I didn't like it because it doesn't actually attach to the seat, so it kind of depends on how much your kid monkey's around at the table! At 3, it's great. Before that we had a Fisher Price Heathly Care booster with tray. It is great if your child is narrow (which mine is), but might be too small for a heavier 2 year old. The only thing that bugged me about it was that over time, all the cleaning ruined the finish on that chair. Next time, I would put something under the seat to protect the chai. Any booster seat that has a gap between the seat and the chair will ahve the same problem because food gets down there some how!. It's not a problem with the Cooshie because it sits flush with the chair.

Due to the limited space in our house we have never been able to fit in a high chair. We got a booster that straps to a chair (one around the seat, and one around the back). It has a removable tray, an adjustable seat (three different heights), and may be what you're looking for.
I don't remember the price for it (we got it about 4-5 years ago) but we did get it a babies r us. If I had to guess I'd say that it's under $20. Ours is blue and green, but there are other colors.
Hope this helps,
Melissa

We found one at Fred Meyer that works great for our 2.5 year old. It is adjustable to two heights. It does come with a tray, but we don't use the tray as the seat fits under our dining table. It straps to any chair.
I've been very happy with ours from The First Years. It's tottally adjustable, straps securely to most basic dining room chairs (we sometimes have it in tow to restaurants), and can be used w/o tray as a booster. Chair slides easily under table w/booster attatched. Easy clean up too, the whole thing can go in the dishwasher for now and then sanitizing. Plus I can't remember how much it was for sure but I know it was a very inexpensive alternative (for us) to a highchair. ($10ish Target)
I have a plastic booster seat without a tray that you can have. If you're interested I'll see if I can find a picture on the Target site. I live north of NE Broadway on 27. It's close to the Lloyd center.
I too have a toddler who enjoys sitting at the table with the family. I found a booster seat at Babies"R"Us. It was $12.99. Nothing real fancy. It does come with the tray option, and it does fit under the table. Hope this helps, and good luck. ~munsonmommy
We use The First Years booster seat. It is teal and blue with a white removable tray and fastens to a regular chair. It has 3 different seat levels and fits perfectly under our table. Plus the seat back folds over for easy traveling. We even used it with our son at 6 months in the bath tub and he LOVED it! We paid $20 for it.
Hi C.~
We always had excellent success with the Fisher Price 2-size booster seat. I don't know if they still make them, but they're red and blue and they have a strap that conveniently attaches to any chair. It has a removable backrest which allows you to adjust the height of the seat. Made of plastic, it's completely washable and it is fairly portable (grandma's, etc.). It is really a great booster seat-nothing fancy and so practical.
Kudos to you, C., for keeping your child in a booster seat at the table until she can comfortably sit in a regular chair and be at the right level!
there is a folding one that you can get at k-mart it does have a tray but you do not have to use it.
We use the Baby Smart Cooshee Classic for our daughter and she really likes it. It is soft and light weight. She likes to take it out and sit on it while playing too.
Have you tried the BUMBO?? They sell them at Target, they are a spongy type material, but quite supportive. If her little bottom will fit in the seat, and her legs around the support in the middle, that might be an option. My sister loved it for her little boy. (You can take a peek at it online to at target.com so you have an idea about what I'm talking about.) Copy the address I put below and paste it to your address bar, then enter...that should take you right to the page. :)

There's a new product called the Kaboost. It fits on the legs of your regular dining room chairs to boost them several inches. I've seen it at Babies R Us and Walmart, online too. Check it out at www.kaboost.com . That's what I'm getting when I need one! No extra bulky seats to fuss with, makes kids feel like they're right up there with the grown ups.
We have the blue fold and go safety first one from target or wal-mart and it is great! You can use it with or without the the tray.
I have Stokkes for my kids. They are wicked expensive. However, my 4 1/2 year old still loves to sit it in, and my 2 1/2 year old has been in his for a 1 1/2, and loves it. They grow with the kids, as you can move the seat and foot rest up and down.
We had boosters, but the way our dining chairs are designed, the kids had a hard time getting up and down. There was nothing for them to use to get up. Also, their feet would rest on the seat of the chair in a booster, and it wasn't comfortable.
Kathleen will be sad when Julian moves into the Stokke, as I'm not really up for buying a 3rd!

I am against booster seats for that age. My youngest just turned 5 on friday and I just converted him from a five point restraint system to a booster seat by Graco. Graco makes one that has a back to it, and it works like a carseat, but utilizes the seatbelt; I bought one at Babys R Us three years ago.
Here's what I found with the booster that doesn't have the back. At 2, children tend to unbuckle their seats, and when they fall asleep, they come out of the belt. These seats also don't stay put if you are in an accident and a child is more likely to be thrown from the vehicle. With my son in a booster seat right now, I'm concerned for his safety and I don't feel that he is safely restrained. The only reason we did it is because he is too tall for the carseat. Don't convert her just because everybody else is. I feel that 2yrs is too young to be in a booster.
Good luck.

We were given a Handy Sitt at our "Coming Home" party. It's great! Just what you were describing you wanted. Visitors to our house always ask, "Where's the highchair?" and it folds down flat for meals at other's homes. I highly recommend it!

Fisher-Price Rainforest Booster Seat
I have the old style of this booster (none of the toys) but I have used it from the time my boys can sit up good until they are 4 yrs old (we just put our 4 yr old on the chair). It has three different levels so that you can adjust as they grow. It goes under my table at all three levels. The tray comes off, we just store ours and use it when we go camping. You can most likely shop around and find a better deal. I think Walmart may have it as well.
You can order the Kaboost online at Target too for $34.99. I don't know if you can buy it yet at the store, but they'll let you return it there if you order it online and don't like it.
