I am looking for books for working moms. I have a 2 year old and a 8 month old and I can't seem to keep everything together with a very busy, stressful career. I stayed home for a year after #1, but hubby and I decided it was best for me to go back after #2 was born. Happy with my decision, but I need organizational tips, support, and laughter. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

LOL who has time for a book? Just kidding, a little. I use Flylady.net for organizational tools and support and subscribe to Working Mother magazine. My women's book club at work has read a book from Marcus Buckingham (I can't recall the name - it's about NOT seeking out balance) that was pretty good. We also read "Nice Girls Don't Get the Corner Office" and that was pretty good too.

I am not sure what it is about but I have heard Tory Johnson is a business woman and writes good books about women and business. They are supposed to be funny and inspiring. ToryJohnson.com

Forget the book and hire some help ;)) Sorry....if I knew of a good book I would recommend it but I don't. I just keep one spiral notebook with me at all times fr my personal stuff and make lists of things to do so I don't forget anything. I categorize them as follows: groceries to buy, other things to buy, stuff to do around the house, financial/legal matters to take care of, and thank you notes/correspondence to write. It may take me a while to get to the tasks but at least I don't have to remember worrying what the tasks are. I also have a routine which I follow every week (gosh I sound rigid right now!): Sunday - gas, car wash if necessary, finish laundry, and pick up house completely, cook food for week
Monday - drop off dry cleaning and pick up dry cleaning, set out trash
Tuesday - bath night and bills/legal stuff
Wednesday - a little laundry, pick up house a little and do some correspondence
etc

Hope that helps, good luck
Good luck!!
