Ladies,
I can't seem to write in my personal journal like I used to, but typing something quick on the computer...well, I guess, Welcome to 2007! I don't want a blog site to broadcast my thought & family happenings to all of cyberspace, just somethink akin to a personal journal. I had a friend mention a site called "My Story," but I searched & searched & can't find it anywhere. It supposedly sends you daily questions & slowly helps you build your life story & that of your family. Anybody know of this site, or something as wonderful to accomplish the same?

I use livejournal.com which is free and you can set your entries to private, friends only, or public. There are also other free ones out there like blogspot, AOL, etc.
Livejournal.com you can make all your entries private or just personal diary entries. I love it.
We use blogger.com for our business blog - it's free and I think you can limit who can view it. It's very easy to use too.
I think I found it. It's called mylifestory.org
My story sounds cool, but I've never heard of it before your message. I just use the blog section of myspace, but you have the options of making it public, friends only, or private. I keep special thoughts/memories in the private setting and the rest are in friends only. It's not as interesting probably as what you described, but if all else fails, at least it's more free-form and you can write whatever you want. I can print it off and put it in a notebook later if I want. Just a thought.
I use Google's Blogspot. You can control who is able to search and view your blog. Plus, you can add pictures, etc. It's been a great outlet for me!
I did alot of searching and found this website. Although it is not free...it sounds like what you are looking for. Good Luck, J.
