B.B.
I blog and it's helped me sort through a lot of things. Let us know if you do it and give us a link if it's public. :)
Hi everybody! I noticed that on Mamapedia there are lots of bloggers. Why do you blog? How do you start blogging? What are good blogger sites to be part of? I like to write (in my journal), am not trained as a writer, but was wondering if blogging could be a start to getting my "view of the world" out there. I would love to hear your ideas. Thanks.

I have been blogging for about 5 years. Every year, I get mine printed into a book. It will be such a wonderful childhood journal for my children, when they are grown. They literally have a weekly account of their lives. I don't have many readers, but I don't blog for the public, I do it for my family.
I use fatcow. It costs $88.00/2 year contract. Like you, I just like to write!
Yeah, I pretty much just blog for my family to see my kids. I like to write too and sometimes do little tangents on my blog, although not as much as I used to. I would just start one up and go from there. From what I can tell, most "mommy bloggers" start kinda small and word spreads.
I'm a life blogger. It started as a way to just transfer my habit of writing a journal from paper to Word to online. Then I started expanding my topics, and then I noticed I was collecting followers. I've been blogging since 2006? Something like that.
Now I blog for journaling purposes as well as getting out information and support for Autism and Fibromyalgia and Depression. I'm linked up here to my blog.
I blog about movies, TV shows, and mostly books. I blog about my kids, family, things I like. Not sure I get too many people but I just blog mostly for myself. Check out some blogs to get ideas. Find something you want to write about and just write.
If you journal then you can blog. I use google blogger which is free and really easy to use. I would say go with a free site (at least to start with) to make sure it's something you want to do. I love cooking and wrote a blog about my culinary experiences. http://melosculinsaryadventures.blogspot.com/
So glad to see this question! I was going to ask a question about blogging too. I'll follow your post to read the replies!!!
