when I check the area that says a flower for your contribution the screen is blank, does anyone know why?
Either your response or the question was pulled because someone reported it.
It might have been related to the political question posed just moments ago. As I learned the other day, some people get really offended over political or non-parenting posts.

Because that question has been removed for who knows why. Either got reported enough or the "mediators" decided to pull it because it didn't follow guidelines.
It's annoying. Wish they would at least leave the title so we knew which post it was.
I think the entire question and responses have been pulled.
I was told it meant that that person sent you a flower....not in response to a post like usual...just a sweet, thoughtful flower for you....
On which post? The question listed in the pinkish part of the screen? If so there is no place for a flower. If in the space beneath an answer, I don't know.
If the answer is gone then there would be no place for a flower.
