Recently I have noticed alot of what I beleive are blackheads in my T zone. I have many young children whom sit on my lap and their hair is next to/resting on my chin which may be their oils onto my face causing these. How do I care for my face to get rid of these?

What can I do next?

Blackheads have to be removed. They won't go away by themselves. If you are not good at removing them yourself (usually by opening your pores through cleansing thoroughly, steaming your face, and then squeezing gently; and/or using an extracting tool), then I suggest you see a facialist, and have it professionally done.

No, it's probably not from your children. You just have oily skin.

I have found the best thing for my face and ridding it of blackheads is by using a Clarisonic! It's an electric face brush that uses sonic technology, along with a facial cleanser to clean your face. It is AWESOME! I got it as a Christmas gift from my sister, and love it!!

Blackheads are not caused by external factors. Sorry. ;-) Your hormones change every 7 or so years barring pregnancy and delivery, and this sort of thing is normal as you age. You can't blame children sitting on your lap.

Luckily you can treat the blackheads with things like the Biore pore strips that gently pull the offending uglies out.

My daughter swears by the strips you stick to your face, leave on for awhile, then when you pull them off, the blackheads come out too. I want to say they're Neutrogena pore strips, but I'm sure I've bought other brands as well. In the skin care isle at CVS.

How often do you wash your face and what cleanser do you use? It has to be twice a day, morning and night. I'd use a mildly abrasive cleanser to help get the black heads out.
