My husband and I took the bootcamp class at north suburban, it was Friday evening and all day saturday. They have the calender posted on the website http://www.babyonthewayclub.com/.
I'm looking for recommendations on where to take a birthing class. I plan to give birth at Rose, and I know they offer a variety of classes there. However, most are in the evening and my husband works in Broomfield and can't guarantee he can get to an evening class in Denver in time, so we need a Saturday class. Can anyone recommend a good class that's either held on a Saturday or located more in the Broomfield/Arvada area (even if on a week night)? We'd like to take a class in January. Thanks in advance.

Hi L.! I would recommend hiring a doula, they usually will either know of a great class to fit your needs, or give you a class themselves! Check out doulamatch.net for more info!

It isn't up north, but St. Joseph has a great weekend express class. It is only one Saturday and covers it all. Too me it was just enough info without getting too boring. I didn't need to spend 6 weeks going into too much detail since when the day comes what will be will be, no matter how prepared you are. This class gave me enough info to just roll with what birth threw at us.
I think most hospitals have something like this. I know the new hospital in Brighton has one.
Good luck!
Check out Lovely Baby- www.childbirthdenver.com. Kathy has a class in December that is on two Sundays at the Olde Town Acupuncture and Wellness Center in Arvada.
Best wishes,
