One year my cousin who is 7 had her birthday at Al Lopez park and got a big bouncer with the slides on it. It was cheap and a hugh hit!
Hi, my twins will be 8 soon (a boy and a girl) and I'd like to have a party for no more than 20 kids. Has anyone had parties at the zoo? (it doesn't sound too exciting on the web, but maybe they are good) or the aquarium? Any ideas where else to go? the Museum of Science (MOSI) sounds good but my kids go there for after school, so that won't be anything new. Please share your experiences
thanks

All of the kids seem to love PUMP IT UP in Westchase. I had a party for my twins at PIN CHASERS Bowling Alley. The kids had a ball and they (Pinchasers) did everything. It was great. (My twins are only 5, but every one enjoys bowling.) Good luck.
I have been to a few parties at the zoo and they are okay. I think it would be great for younger kids. I just went to a birthday party at MOSI yesterday for a 7 year old and the children there (mixed ages) seemed to have a good time(it was a Harry Potter theme). As suggested by someone else, Pump It Up is fun, as well as, the birthday party at Pin Chasers. My nephew had his 9th birthday at United Skates Of America and that was a lot of fun. The movies are fun too if there is something out that the kids want to see. Tampa International Airport does free birthday parties for kids ages 5 and up and, although I have not been to a party there (my child is under 5 and all participants must be 5 or older), I have heard it is a lot of fun. Good luck!
My kids loved Pump It Up for their birthdays last year. My two eldest (eight and five) had a combined bday party, and even with the age difference everyone had an awesome time. This place is amazing - two rooms full of huge inflatables like slides about 20 feet or more high, climbing things, bouncing things, etc. The third room is where you have cake, pizza, drinks, and open gifts. The staff does everything. So easy for the parents and so fun for the kids. There is one in Brandon on Lumsden at Kings.
