Jumpin Jacks on 1960 is fun. It is not a bounce place but a place for kids to crawl around in like a big treehouse. I am not sure if it is open. I have not been there in a long time.ITZ is also an option but more expensive.
I'm looking for a place to have my son's 3rd birthday party. Since he has a summer birthday, I'm getting discouraged with the outdoor venues due to the heat. Are bounce places and gymnastics my only options? Does anyone have any fun places to have a party for 3 year olds out in NW Houston/Cypress?

It all depends on what your son likes to do. For my daughter who is a little older, I ask her what she would like and plan the party around that. For instance, this year she wanted a cooking party, so we went to the Young Chef's Academy. The year before we had one at the Aquarium. For my son 3rd birthday last year, I had one at his preschool. I hired a clown for 90 minutes and they did games, a bubble machine, balloon animals/face painting, pizza, cake, ice cream etc. He had a blast. That way, he could have all his friends present and parents wouldn't have to take their children to a weekend party. You could also try the Cyfair Magazine and find some ideas for party places in the area.
Three might be too young, but Imaginations is a paint place where they get to paint a piece and take it home.
ITZ Pizza is a great place. 249 & 1960. Especially if the kids are going to be older than your child. Things to do for all ages. Buffett, trains. games. They will love it.
Happy Early Birthday!!
The oil ranch in Hockley (just outside of cypress) is a fun place--they have a train, petting zoo and many other fun outside things to do--and when everyone gets too hot-they have a pool that has really shallow parts for the little ones.
