I am looking for some help with planning my daughters 5th birthday party. We are trying to do something special for her, not just our usual party at the local park. I think 5 is a special number, and for her older brothers 5th birthday a couple years ago, we went to Disney. Well, we have decided against that for her( Just went a month ago and her birthday is during the Christmas break), so I am trying to come up with something fun for her. She is VERY girly and a "princess"........ Any good ideas??

What can I do next?

Check into your local flower shops, party places, etc for a themed party. We have a flower shop here that does them and my kiddos LOVE going to them. They have one called "Divalicious" for girls. They do their hair, makeup and nails and do a fashion show with them showing off their makeovers. They also do a diva themed craft. My fav is a little purse that they get to "diva" up. They give them sunglasses and feather boas, etc when they are dressing them up for their fashion show and they get to keep all that stuff. They charge $12 per girl for this and like I said, the girls just love going to these!

Do you know a Mary Kay Consultant? I used to sell it and I did several Mother(or Grandmother)/ Daughter Makeover parties. The moms and daughters LOVED it!

Also, straying from the theme, my son is going to be 6 and he asked for a party at JumpZone which is a place with inflatable and EVERYONE loves them....even the parents. I've been to a few parties there and my whole family LOVED it!

If her birthday is in December, you could have Santa or Mrs. Clause come and entertain the kids! I found a website, but have never used them. http://www.the-santacompany.com/the_santa_company_002.htm
I have also heard good things about Butterfly Dreams, as someone else has posted. Have fun!

oh yes I have the perfect idea, call Butterfly Dreams, theme parties for kids, she does all types of parties from Princess & Prince, or pirate, she brings everything that you need from the dresses to accessories, the kids love her. They do art & crafts and games, she has a lot of different packages to choose from.
look at her website www.ButterflyDreamsParty.com call early she books up and is very professional. They come to you or they have rental places you can rent. Call ###-###-#### and you wont regret getting Butterfly Dreams.
They have very good comments on mamasource and other sites. good luck and have a great time for your little princess.

Pampered Princess-go to a salon/spa for pedicure/manicure, mini facial, fancy hairdo, etc. Or you can do this at home for a group of girls with nail polish, ribbons, shimmer and some creativity. Have fun.
