We're looking for ideas for an indoor birthday party in the Roseville area for our soon to be 2 year old son. Our home is too small to accomodate both family and friends, and since our little one is terrified of bounce places, that's not an option this year. Any suggestions??? Thanks so much!!

The Busy Bus "Park & Play" mobile Tumble Bus is a K. mobile party playground inside a converted 40' city metro bus. The bus is filled with a rock climbing wall, ball pit, rope climb, trampoline, and foam filled wedges, steps and inclines like you would see in a gymnastics facility. The Tumble Bus is perfect for a two year party, and a great party venue that is parked outside your home or event site. About 20 K. can play inside the bus at once, and there is room for parents to sit and converse as well.

Wacky Tacky is a great place, especially for the younger crowd. It is like a huge indoor playground! Check it out! There are even coupon deals on their website.

Have you tried Wacky Tacky in Roseville? www.wackytacky.net

My opinion though, you can't go wrong with Chuck E Cheese. My son just had his 4th birthday there and loved it. My friend just had her sons second birthday there and he loved it. If you go with that I recommend a weeknight. I had my sons party on a Thursday night and his was the only party scheduled. My friend had her's at noon on a Sunday and there were 3 other parties and it was very loud and crowded. I was able to have a party for nine K. for a little under $150. I printed coupons for pizza deals for the adults that attended the party as I couldn't afford to purchase food for everyone. I made my own cupcakes and bought a few goodies for the K.. It was a great success and I will probably have another party there in the future.

Another recommendation for Wacky Tacky. I have been there many times for parties (both of my K. had their parties there and loved it ... the staff do a great job coordinating it all, too) and have yet to see a child of any age not have fun ... even the ones hesitant to play at first really get into it.

A park near you - FREE! Roseville has excellent parks! I suggest drive around during the time of day you'll want o have the party and find one that works for you...has enough tables, shade and type of play equipment for your 2 year old. I did I Hawaiian themes Luau @ the park near Buljan Middle for my now 5 year old on a hot August day - she loved it. We avoided the parks that are avail. to reserve and just picked an early enough time to stake our claim at the park we wanted. We kept the food simple: sandwiches, water, lemonade, munchies & a cupcake cake. We did flower leis for girls and shell necklaces for boys, did a fish craft and handed out sand buckets and shovels. HAVE FUN!
