Hi. How 'bout the zoo? Pray for a nice day and then do a picnic for the kids on the grass area. Gift bags could be bags fulled with "animal stuff". Just a thought.
I am looking for a place to have my son's sixth birthday party. We have already done the McDonald's and Chuck E. Cheese thing. I really don't want to have it at home. Does anyone have any suggestions for a party place in the Brookfield area?
thanks

Some movie theaters have rooms for parties & then a movie.
Most of the children's museums do parties. The zoo, of course (kind of pricey, but nice!) My son's been to a party at a skating rink in Lombard on 22nd (can't remember the name) and at a mini golf place, also out west somewhere (e-mail me if interested, and I'll find out). Some bowling alleys do parties. The Forest Park gymnastics center (tri-star) does birthday parties, although I don't know if that would appeal to a boy (haven't been there for a party.)
Mayan Indoor Waterpark @ the Holiday Inn Hotel in Elmhurst. Great place to have a birthday party.
My children love the jumping rooms - such as Pump It Up www.pumpitupparty.com I know they have sites in Orland Park and Lisle. There are other company/franchises out there as well.
THERE'S A PLACE CALLED THE BRUNSWICK ZONE WHICH IS A PRETTY NICE PLACE TO HAVE BIRTHDAY FUNCTIONS AT. THERE ISN'T ONE IN BROOKFIELD BUT THERE ARE 14 BRUNSWICK ZONE IN ILLINOIS YOU PROBABLY CAN CALL THEM OR GO ONLINE AND SEE WHICH ONE IS NEAR YOU. I HOPE THIS HELPS
Enchanted Castle is Lombard/Villa Park off of Roosevelt Road and the is also a place called Safari Land or similar to that off of North Ave in Villa Park.
