Prices at ASI and Metroplex Gymnastics are the same so I wanted to get opinions on which one everyone thought was "better".

Well, you may have already decided, but I do know that ASI has everything that Metroplex has except the zip line and bounce house for parties.
My kids liked both places but actually asked to go back to ASI.
I dont know about Metroplex but we had a great party at ASI for my then 4 year old who is now 5...

Late answer to an old thread, but had to share my experience today. Sounds like things have gone WAAAAY downhill in the last couple of years.
Do NOT go to ASI Gymnastics in Allen for a birthday party if your children are under 5. The activities planned were boring for 3/4 year olds. Any attempts to have 'free-play' outside of the structured part were met with employees yelling at the KIDS ... not the parents who were standing right next to them .. yelling at the kids...
4 other sets of parents were livid after the party today. We couldn't even try to play with our children in the main area as 'parents were not allowed'. After repeated run-ins with multiple parents, we asked to speak to a manager and conveniently, there wasn't one on duty. We were told 'we don't make up the rules' so many times it was just unreal. My 3 year old daughter was in tears multiple times as were several other children (some as old as 5 and 6)...
At Metroplex Gym or even Eagles Wings, the kids actually get to have some fun and explore along with their parents (so the shy kids aren't left out). I would highly recommend any place other than ASI in Allen. I will never be back for any reason ..
We had our party at Metroplex and absolutely loved it. I've talked to moms who have done both and say they prefer Metroplex. The man who runs the parties on weekends is awesome with the kids and really plays with them.
ASI is MUCH cleaner/nicer/newer/bigger as far as the facility goes. I have only had a party at ASI and have only been to several at ASI. The kiddos have a BLAST! :0)
Have never been to ASI, but my daughter has been going to preschool, gymnastics and swimming lessons at Metroplex for the last 3 years and we love it. We also had her birthday party there and it was wonderful. If you want a more structured party instead of free form play you can ask for that. The staff there is amazing and always happy to try their best to help accomadate any of your needs. Good luck with your choice and I hope the party turns out great!!!!
At metroplex the birthdays include and obstacle course, zip line, trapeze, pit, tumble track, trampolines and bounce houses.
I don't think ASI offers half of that. I would recommend Metroplex!!
I think the facility is nicer at ASI, however, the attention we got was better at Metroplex.
I vote for ASI.
We went to a party at Metroplex and it was smelly.
When we were looking for a place for daughter to work on her cheerleading, we found the same thing....smelly.
Personally, we feel that ASI is cleaner and our daughter loved the program.
Having been to parties at both, I would vote for ASI. The staff at Metroplex is much nicer and I really wish I could vote for them. The difference in the parties is this:
At Metroplex you will be put into a narrow but long room for the cake time part. The kids will pretty much be forced to sit and wait until all of the guests arrive. Everyone will get hot. Oh, and it's upstairs. (Not really that big of a deal perhaps) After the 'party' the kids burn off their energy running around on the equipment and they usually have an inflatable item too. It's free form (although they may try to have structure...they're much more willing to let that go though!)...the kids just play. Loads of fun for all.
At ASI you will have a couple of 'coaches' leading the kids through an obsticle course then each kid will get a trampoline then they'll go on to something else...then run into the sponge pit. It's very structured. The party room is very large and open and everything is on one floor.
As I said, the staff at Metroplex is great. I really like them there, but for a party...stick with ASI! That's just my opinion!
