Two and four are perfect ages for Gymboree! You can do Pump it Up and/or Airzone later when your two year old will have more fun. We have had my two kids' birthdays at Gymboree for a couple years now. It is so easy and they love it.
I am looking into a birthday party for my two kids 2 and 4. I like what airzone and pump it up offer but other than the price difference does anyone have an opinion which venue is better?

I don't know anything about Airzone, but my 6 year old son has had his birthday at pump it up for the last two years. He LOVES it there- in fact he's wanting to go back for a third time this year (although I'd like to mix it up a little!). I love how clean pump it up is and the staff we've worked with have always been really attentive. I'm pretty detailed with organizing and set up for parties and they take over once you enter the door and met my expectations. My littlest went to a neighbor's party there when he was a little under 2 and he ran his little heart out. He couldn't do some of the blowups with climbing walls, but he was insane over the big slide and loved jumping with balls.
Good luck!

I haven't heard of pump it up i'll have to look into that but there is a new place in Libery called Fun Run. It's awesome especially for kids of different ages. They have blow up stuff to slide, climb and jump on but they also have around 8 themed play rooms. They have a house area that my 4 year old loved cause she could "pretend" to do laundry and iron clothes, a grocery store, a pet shop, dr's office, beauty salon that let's kids put on wigs, and more but I just can't remember.
I was just on the pump it ups website last night. I would google it and check it out if I were you, also Monkey Buzness at the great mall in Olathe. Im a google queen so Id google that as well!
Try Tunnel Town in Lees Summit?
Hi K.,
I actually host birthday parties at the YMCA. We offer your choice of a 1 hour activity and 1 hour for the party. The different activities are Rock Climbing on the indoor Rock Wall. We also offer swiming time in the pool (which has a twisty slide too!) After your activity we go back to the party room where I would cut and serve the cake and any other refreshments you want the party to have. We open presents and play some games if there is still time. I have been hosting these parties for 4 years and am really open to what the parents want to have happen at the party. We have done a Pinata. We have played flashlight tag. We have had a scavenger hunt in the Y's different areas. It is a lot of fun and the kids love it!! I host them at the O'fallon Y but I know they are available at most if not all Y's. The pricing is great and even better if you are a member. I know the price varies so you will need to check the Y by where you live. If you are in O'fallon and want to book a party here please contact Cathy Nicholson at ###-###-#### to book. Our prices are under $150 for 12 kids. Hope this helps and hope to see you at the YMCA for a party!!

Have you looked at Monkey Business at the Great Mall in Olathe, comparable in price, but everything is in one room with a separate party room with a climbing wall so even the adults have fun.
