My daughter's kindergarten class celebrate "half" birthdays for kids who have summer birthdays and tomorrow is my daughter's "half" birthday party. She can pass out treats to her classmates as long as it's not food (because of allergies). I need ideas of something non food to pass out, quick! I only have tonight to put something together. (I just found out about this party thing this morning). Help Mamas! Who has some ideas for something my daughter can pass out Hopefully it won't require to much putting together or tons of money!
Thanks!

So What Happened?

Thanks Mamas for the great ideas! We found glittery pencils in an assortment of colors along with erasers. Glittery and sparkly- both right up my dd alley!
The play doh idea was a GREAT one! I think I will include that in the gift bags for the next classroom party. Thanks!

Our school keeps birthdays very low-key, so we just passed out colorful pencils. If you wanted to add more to that, throw in pencil top erasers and a small pencil sharpener.

Great idea on the 1/2 birthdays...my son is also a summer birthday.

How about...pencils, bubbles, or little containers of Play-Doh?

Homemade play doh is SOOO easy! I put a couple packets of Kool aid in the batch I made to give it a scent, I still have a huge tub of it in the fridge! I just replace it as it needs it, I think that would be a great idea! you could make up some & put them in baggies or something else that might keep it soft but wouldn't cost too much!

I don't have any other ideas! I just wanted to add that to the play doh idea! :)

Hi A. -

Wow, my daughter's half-birthday is today, we live in St. Charles, and she is in first grade! Check Party City - there is one next to Target on Route 64. They have a ton of trinket toys and some are even less than .25 cents. We got some little pencils and notepads there for her celebration today.
