Does the school have them on spellingcity.com?
I guess just go through the words O. at a time with her, eliminating the ones she definitely knows so far & repeat, etc. til she has them all down pat.
My 8 year old came home with a list of 100 words to study for her school's spelling bee (cool!! I loved spelling bee's!!)
But I'm just naturally good at sounding out words and spelling... I don't remember studying other than reading over the lists, and reading in general really... how can I help her prepare for this?
I bought index cards, but I'm not sure that would really help...

I loved spelling bees too!
My 8 yr old has yet to miss a spelling word and we do flash cards + writing each word 3x, then daily oral quizzing + writing each missed words 3x each again.
Good luck
Spellingcity.com has really helped my little one! I go into our account and put her spelling words in for the week and she will take a test and play the games with her class spelling words..
Flashcards would help. Also helping her understand prefixes/origin of the words. Not all spelling bee words can be sounded out. Then again, I haven't seen the list.
Other than studying, watch Akilah and the Bee together. It will be a great motivator for your daughter!
Check out this ADORABLE game!

I'm going to use it to play with my boys at home. :o)
I always remember things that I have written so I would have her write them over and over again. Also, make some flash cards and go over them again and again with her.
FYI - per your previous post regarding an electric toothbrush, Sonicare is currently offering a $10 coupon and a $10 rebate.
There is no shortcuts, or easy ways. My son has a spelling bee on the 22nd of November. He has placed in the top 3 every year, he is a naturally good speller, but every night after homework I sit him down and make him go through about 30 words, if he gets them right easily I put a check, if he stumbles, or get them wrong I show him the word, make him spell it while looking at it, then put an "x" by that word. The next day we start with the words he got wrong the day before, rinse, repeat, a lot...
Practice every single day, weekends included, just like this.
My son is also 8 - and his list is at least 500 words, with words such as mispronounce, witnesses, and zillionaire - which personally I don't think is even a word lol
