Best Way to Package a Premade Scrapbook for Basket Auction???

Hi Mammas!
My son's school is having a basket auction pretty soon, and for our theme I chose a Pre-made scrapbook, themed to our school.

My problem is that I am finding it difficult to display the contents. There are 20 pages back and front and they are AWESOME, but how do I let people see that? It has to be wrapped in cellopane in a conatiner/basket. If I open the book it will only show 2 pages. I can display maybe 4 on the outside on foam board but they are 12 x 12 pages, and take up much space.
Another glitch is the depth of the container/basket to display it in. A regular basket seems too deep. I don't want to spend more that 10 buck on the conatiner.

Has anyone ever doen this and how would you do it?

Thanks for any help!!!!

What can I do next?

Reduced-sized color copies of each page! Staple the copies into a little book and attach with ribbon to the top of the bow along with the sheet that lists the basket's contents and value of items. To lift all items up in the basket, wad up balls of newspaper and fill the bottom. Then cover the newspaper with shredded, crimped colored paper, or pieces of colored tissue paper.

take photos of the pages and reduce the size, then print an 8x10, much like the back of a calendar.

Why not make color copies of some of the pages and have a stapled copy that people can page through near the actual scrapbook- then they can look at each page. Target has really cheap containers - can you use one of those rather than a basket? Does it *HAVE* to be in a basket, or they just are trying to make sure they could fit in a basket?
Talk to the auction committee - my guess is that they'll have lots of ideas for you.
Good luck!

I was going to say take pictures of each page to add to the outside of the basket also. Great minds think alike.

Find a large decorative box from Michaels w/ a coupon. Put some paper shred in the box and tape the lid to the outside back of the box so that the album can rest on the lid to stand it up. Take the pages out of the album so they can look through them. Add some adhesive glue to the box and maybe some embellishments they can add later. Hope that helps.

maybe scan the pages and make a mini flip book as a tag for the basket.

How about taking pictures of all the pages and putting them in a thumbnail type of picture in a clear stand and with the description below right next toyour basket? Best wishes!
