We love Wilderness Territory - esp the condos at Glacier Canyon Lodge. The whole property is connected with heated tunnels and there is a huge indoor arcade.
Hi There,
We are looking to book a trip to WI Dells during the winter months and I'm wondering where the best place to stay would be. I have a 4 year old boy and a 2 year old girl. We are looking for a hotel/waterpark combo that's kid-friendly...especially for the younger ones. Thank you!!

We have really enjoyed The Great Wolf Lodge. My kids are young too. I think it is very age appropriate. They have a kids club, and nightly story time (with characters) that my kids loved. The resteraunts were good and their kids meals came with wolf ears for the kids to wear.It was clean, and the waterparks were great. We liked that it was within walking distance to the outlet mall, and another good resteraunt:(Buffalo Phil's-delivers your meals by train.Have fun!
We absolutely loved the Wilderness Resort!
We love the Kalahari. Stuff to do for all ages and you can check out some deals on their websites.
Have fun!!
Wilderness on the Lake is great for little kids. Rooms are condos, with fully equipped kitchens so you don't have to eat out for all meals. There are also separate bedrooms. There is a smaller waterpark that is perfect for little ones...no huge slides, more like a play ground in the water. We loved it when our kids were younger!
I've been to Chula Visa, Kalahari and the Wilderness resorts. Pretty much all have something to offer kids of all ages, even preschoolers. Wilderness allows you to shuttle to it's different indoor parks, but might not be so easy with younger ones. Chula Vista has some really great deals this time of year...it's a little off the beaten path, but only about a 5 minute from downtown if you plan on leaving the hotel. Sounds like fun, I'm jealous!
We like the Wilderness resort. Has 2 waterparks very kid friendly with zero gravity pools and shallow pools for the 4 year old. Also has a pottery shop where you can pick out something to paint with the kids and they put it in the kiln overnight and you pick it up the next day. They also have an arcade and a large climbing area with balls etc. Accross the street is a cool retro Denny's for cheap breakfast. They usually offer deals to depending on when you go.
we have stayed at the rain tree resort.....it is geared for kids 12 and under....our boys were 6, 7, and 8 and they had a blast!!
We visited Chula Vista and that one seemed really great for kids, although it's a little out of the way. The indoor water park was just right for your kids' age range.

Kalahari is great for all ages, it's known to be the best in the Dells. There is also an amusement park inside that is great for little ones.
