A vote for Callon. Clayton somehow seems a bit uppity (no offense). Wasn't it he character on Fresh Prince of Bel Aire? And Jett reminds me too much of John Travolta's son and doesn't seem like a person's name. Just my vote. :) I really like Cal as a nickname too. Masculine and casual.

Calvin? I used to know a momma who had a Calvin and she was pretty cool. :)

I was going to vote Callan...but if it is being used on girls. Eh...I don't care for unisex names much.

Jett...it's cute, but makes me think of John Travolta. Which makes me think of Scientology... :(

Clayton...is a hillbilly town north of here. Lol. I can't hear the name in my ears w/o a country twang to it.

Those are my thoughts...they are admittedly silly. :)
HTH!

I have a bad association with O. of them (odd coworker) so I think I like Callan best.

Clayton and Jett both sound very strong names. They sound like rugged little boys. I like them both alot. Clayton has the added bonus of Clay for short. Clayton Jett would be a good combo, actually. Or how about Dakota Jett- (Cody for short). Very masculine.

The only Callan I know is a girl, but maybe it was originally a boy's name?

I like Jett. No confusion on how to pronounce it, and the most masculine of the three. ...and I think it's "cool" name.

I'm not sure how to pronounce Callan. Is that the name popular from the vampire movies? I'm clearly not too hip on all this. Jett is cute but you have to think of him as an old man...like Grandpa Jett. Then it doesnt sound good. good luck!!!

Callan or Clayton. When he is older he can choose whether he wants to use the full name or the nickname, with either of those. Both are somewhat unusual, at least around here. Both would sound mature when he's an adult. Jett sounds cute but will cute work on a business card when he's 35?

I always think it's good to go for names that work at five, at 35, and at 85. That doesn't have to mean extremely traditional names but it does mean -- in my opinion! -- avoiding names that sound trendy and adorable for children but might not sound mature for adults.

If you particularly like Jett, use it as a middle name.

I think I like Callan - "Cal" - best. Jett reminds me too much of John Travolta's tragic son and Clayton is alright, but I don't care for the "Clay" shortening of it. Callan is nice. Is it Irish?

Depends on your last name, but my favorite is Callan, then Jett, then Clayton. I too like Calvin, also Kellan, Kalen (kay-len), Caleb.
