Best Farmer's Market and Apple Orchard in the Area?

You definitely need to know about www.kidwinks.com! You can use it to search for things like apple orchards, pumpkin farms, etc. and the Events Calendar lets you find area events by clicking on a day on the calendar. The Farmer's Market in Libertyville is on Thursdays and I think it's the best around. Crystal Lake has one on Saturdays, so does Woodstock.

Hi M. W, I do know of a terrific Apple Orchard! It is called Edwards Apple Orchard at 7061 Centerville Rd Capron IL. ###-###-####. If you google it there are some other reviews to read up on it before you make your choice for your family. I will tell you it is VERY crowded on the fall weekends. Also they had a tornado rip through about 18-19 months ago and have recently renovated. So if the reviews are not current pay no attention as the renovation came out really nice. Gods beautiful burst of Fall colors will be here before we know it, may we all get out and enjoy the beauty he created for us!

Hi I live on the border of Palatine and Rolling meadows.
Palatine has a great farmers market. It is right at the Palatine train station. (off of smith st)
Not sure on the apple orchard. I just google that:-)

We have a very nice Farmers' Market right here in Palatine. It's open every Saturday at the train station parking lot. I think it's from 7am-1pm. They usually have a pretty good selection of items there.

Unfortunately the last good apple orchard we had in the area closed a couple years ago. I think the closest one is now in Wisconsin (tho not too far, I think). A web search might be in order for that.
