hi moms and dads,
i am going to be getting my 4 1/2 year old daughter (she will be 5 in march) a ds for christmas. what games are good for kids this age. are there ones that teach letters/numbers or basic addition? what are your little kids favorite games?
I second wonderpets my son loved it. Also crayola has a few good games, and tetris also.
My son's favorites are Tetris (downloadable from the store), and diego, the wonderpets, and scoobydoo.
My daughter is the same age & ♥'s the Pinkalicious game! She likes all the Dora ones too. I found the disney princess one to be too hard & alot of reading. There some educational ones. I got her the Prek Tutor, its good not great.

both are fun, teaches numbers and letters and all kinds off stuff. both can be bought online @ walmart for under $20 each so very cost effective
I go to gamestop at the mall. Google it I wish I knew about it sooner.. Saves me so much money u can buy new or used games.. They have a great return policy on used games if your kids don't like them.. Every game they recommend for my kids they love and are age appropriate. My 5 yr old loves Mario cart, Kirby.
