Hi Everyone. A friend of mine is trying to determine which is the best double-stroller for a 3 year old and a newborn. They are looking for one that is lightweight, easy to manuever and has a parent & kid tray. Any suggestions would be helpful. They are looking for the best all-around stroller. Thanks in advance!

I was wondering the same thing... also, would you go a different direction with a younger child? My daughter will be just over 2 when the baby is born, and I'm concerned that a sit and stand wouldn't cut it for those rare day long trips- but at the same time I can't remember the last time Izzy actually slept in her stroller- if we're out she only sleeps in the car or sitting her peanut shell. Also, I don't want to buy a tandem just for the sake of those trips we don't take very often. Man, buying a stroller has always been such an issue with me. It took me forever to pick out my first one!

I, too, have a Joovy Sit N Stand and we love it! It doesn't have a cupholder for adults, but you can purchase an attachable one. It's sturdy and strong and easily maneuvered. Both my kids love it and I wouldn't trade it in for anything!

I have the Joovy Caboose and I really like it. This is the kind where you can rest a car seat in front and the older child can either sit or stand in back. My son (3) loves riding in the back. My daughter is now 10 mo. so she can sit in the seat in front now w/ out the car seat. It handles really well and is easy to navigate in stores because it is narrow. It is a bit heavy to lift in and out of car. This does not have parent tray but I bought seperate attachments to latch to handle.

Definitely get some sort of sit and stand. I have the Joovy, too. I like it, but it's somewhat heavy. I'd prefer it to be lighter, but overall it's great! We got it when my daughter was 2.5 years old and she loves that she can stand in the back. There's no way she would have sat it a tradition type stroller.
