Hi all,
With the birth of my 3rd child I constantly have very puffy eyes no matter how much I sleep each night. I have been searching for an eye cream and wasting money on buying creams that don't work. Does anyone have a cream that works to depuff the eyes? I am open to other solutions, but I usually get ready in 15 minutes that includes shower, hair, and getting dressed. Thanks!

What can I do next?

Yes Prep H is GREAT for the puffiness. I don't think there is a smell to it. You can get a generic brand that works really well at Walmart for about $3.50.

Apparently Preparation H is supposed to be good for this problem. I haven't tried it, just heard about it. You can do the research.

Of course, you may not want to go about with nice smooth eyes but smelling like a fish.

Daily treatment:

Green tea bags. Wet them in as hot a water as you can stand on your face, and place them on your eyes, laying a wet washcloth over the tea bags, and rest for 20 minutes.

I also use Olay Regenerist eye roller on my eyes Morning and night(I'm 39, and half Asian, so I have some of these issues, in addition to others).

Weekly treatment:

They have two nice ones at Walgreens--Yes to Cucumbers soothing calming Facial mask, and Sudden Change green tea facial mask. After the mask, treat your skin with a nice light moisturiser, or a facial toner spritz. I make one with a bottle of Rosewater and a drop of tea tree oil in it, and mist my freshly pampered face. I've been bad and not done this in a while, so I may end up doing this while my son is in school tomorrow.

Hope this helps.

For a really quick fix, try putting an ice cube in a washcloth and rubbing that on your eye area. Cucumbers are supposed to help, too, but they have to stay on longer. And don't forget, even a 20 min nap in the afternoon will help a lot (I'm talking about a nap for YOU!).

If you can spare 5 minutes in the morning to put a cold washcloth over your eyes, you'll fix the problem without having to spend any money.

Put a washcloth in a ziplock bag. Freeze it.
Put it over your eyes in the morning before you get going.
Poof!

All About Eyes from Clinique. They make a de-puffing rollerball that is a soothing quick fix(around $26), and an eye gel/cream that moisturizes/de-puffs for a longer term effect(around $29). Use morning and night, takes about 2 second to put it on.

I like Dr. Wexler's eye cream. It works really well and you can see a difference in about 2 minutes. I get it at Bath and Body Works.
