Just curious as to how long you stay up once you get your little one down. I find that I want to go to sleep the same time as my DD which is 8:30! Of course I don't but there are nights where I do conk out on the couch by 9:30. Sleep is not a force to be reckoned with!

I stay up WAAY too late, because I want to spend time with my hubby and he usually doesn't get home until around 10 pm. I end up going to sleep somewhere between 12 and 1, and then get up with the 2 month old around 5:30. I know, not enough sleep, but I can sleep when I'm dead :) J/K I really do need the sleep and would probably be happier in the day time, but I'd feel like I am missing out on my alone time with my hubby.

When my son was 2, I was in school. He'd go to bed. I'd take 2-3 hours of personal time, and then study for 5-6 hours, and then go to bed. I mostly got about 5 hours a night.

I was usually in bed around 2am. Sometimes 4 or 5am, but usually 2. He'd wake up at 8.

For me it is one extreme of the other. I either want to (and do!) go to bed immediately OR I love 'my' time so much before I know it it's midnight.

My 10monthold twins go to bed at 7. I usually do housework between 7-9 before my husband gets home. We are in bed by 10 or earlier. We get up early. We all have to be out of the house by 7am during the week, and I am not brave enough to mess with sleep schedules over the weekends

I clean after my 15 month old goes to bed, while I wait for my husband to come home. Thats the time that I enjoy the quiet and keep to myself cleaning the house, making dinner, and getting everything in order for the next day, and then eventually relaxing when the hubby gets home. Then we go outside and sit for a few minutes just talking. Its relaxing and there are no distractions out there. We have a great view of protected marsh land that has so much wildlife that its cool to watch it all.

Then usually by 11pm or so we are to bed ourselves and onto the next day before we know it.

I find that I enjoy the silence and end up taking advantage of it when the kids finally go to sleep! It is my favorite time, that and first thing in the morning before anyone wakes up:)

I have an almost 3 and almost 5 who go to bed 7-730, I am asleep by 930. I am also 7 months pregnant. But even before I would be in bed by 1030 or asleep on the couch while my husband watched tv :)

I'm up for work by 6:30 and my husband is at work until 11, so once I get the kids to bed (usually between 12:15 and 12:45 a.m.) I start trying to get the baby to sleep soon after and usually manage to nod off by 1:30 or 2 a.m. on a good morning. My husband and I try to chat for a bit after we put our oldest down. His bedtime (oldest child) starts first since they share a room and if we put the older two boys in at the same time they will NOT fall asleep. I'm fighting sleepiness all day every day, so it is really just a way of life. Someday, in my dream-future (and my husband's) he will work days and we can all go to sleep earlier. :)

(I should add that he has the kids during the day until he goes in for his evening shift. None of our kids are in school yet, which is why our schedule works for them.)

When my kids were that age, I put them in bed at 8:00 and I was up til 10:00 or 10:30 - needed time to get things done around the house and spend time with hubby, and just some quiet time as my after-work time was really all spent momming and doing dinner. Nights that I was teaching classes, I was up later.

I did the same thing, until recently when our daughter was slightly over two. It's hard when they are wee ones. Two is still little, but they are becoming more independent. So I did the same thing as you for a long time. I fell asleep sometimes w/o knowing it! Now I do stay up way too late at times, but there are days when I go to bed early. Just not all the time anymore.

My daughter is usually asleep by 730 or something and I stay up till about 10 or 11. I love having that alone time... her dad works nights so I have the house to myself for a little while :) I wish I went to bed earlier though because I am so tired at 630 0r 7 in the morning when she gets up.

I stay up way too late!! I crave the alone time, so I'm in bed by 11:00 or later, which isn't good since I have to get up for work the next day and am pregnant! But, it's good for my mental health. :)

My kids usually go to bed between 8 and 8:30. I usually go to bed around 10:30 or 11. My husband and I get a lot done after the boys are in bed or we just veg and watch tv.
