I do not believe she needs to be baptized again but she does need to go through classes in order to go through the sacraments of communion and confirmation.
My niece was baptized Presbyterian, can she receive her First Holy Communiion cna Confiration in the Catholic church or does she have to be baptized again?

My husband was received into the Catholic faith on the Feast of Christ the King last year. He had been baptized in the Church of Christ. He did not need to be re-baptized, as he had already been baptized into Christianity (what he did isn't called conversion, either, since he was already Christian, he just came into full communion with the Church). First Eucharist and Confirmation depends upon her age. If she is a child, she will have to go to Christian Formation classes for these sacraments. If she is older, she will still have to attend classes, which are called RCIA (Rites of Christian Initiation for Adults). However, local customs are different, so it never hurts to call a local church and talk to the priest, deacon or pastoral associate. If nothing else, she will have to be enrolled in a class.
All the best!
I believe once your baptized, your baptized. Check with the priest.
Baptism is baptism. She'll need to do the classes for the sacraments she needs in the Catholic Church, but she doesn't need to be re-baptized. Not so for communion or confirmation (if presbyterians do those) she'd have to redo as a catholic.
You would be best to ask the priest at the church that question. As Catholics yes we do recognize one baptism, but if you are not baptized through Christ it is not a valid baptism in the church. You can be christian, and still not believe the same as a Catholic, so you would need to be re baptized. my ex Was baptized Lutheran as a child, and when he did the classes as a Catholic, he was re-baptized.
She does not need to be baptized again if it was a previous Christian baptism, which hers is. The Catholic faith acknowledges one baptism and one baptism only. There are however, Christian Formation classes she will take though, so that she understands what she is doing. I am not sure why others are saying that she will need to be re-baptized, but in the creed we say every week at mass it clearly states, "we acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins", so she will not need to be re-baptized. Good luck!
I'm almost certain that she would have to be baptized Catholic in order to receive the other two sacraments in the Catholic Church. A priest would be able to tell you for certain.
Check with your priest. (You won't be the first to ask.) It used to be that Presbyterian baptism didn't count, but maybe that has changed.
It must depend on the parrish, cuz I know our friend's daughter had to be re baptized because she hadnt been baptized Catholic but other people here are saying differently so you'll need to check with your preist
she has to be baptized in a catholic church for her to receive the rest of sacraments.
The Catholic Church recognizes as valid any baptism that is made with water, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. She will not need to be re-baptized, as baptism is one of the Sacraments that leaves an indellible mark on the soul, and can only be received once. Her Presbyterian baptism made her a member of the Christian faith (yes, we Catholics ARE Christians).
She has to be catholic and go through the preparation classes first to be baptized there.

I am positive that she will have to be baptized Catholic (which involves classes for the parents too). If she's going to be a member of the Catholic church, she'll have to recieve all of the Sacraments in order and according to the appropriate customs and rituals.

Sorry, I meant to add, "or at least that's the way it used to be, maybe it's changed" I bumped the mouse and it sent my answer before I was finished with it :Þ
Catholics respect other baptisms, you might want to check with her Priest, but there shouldn't be any barrier if she's taken the classes and wants to receive the sacraments.
