I just found out this morning someone used my credit card 3 times last night... 10 dollars at Macy's, 400 at a watch store, and over 600 at a place called THE STATUS.... or that is what my account info says... The bank has never ever heard of that store before... anyway my question is do any of you know what that could be? I tried to google it but found nothing... whatever they bought was expensive.... cops have been called and thank goodness I will get all my money back no later then Tuesday. I am furious though.
The bank should at least be able to find out from the card processor what kind of merchant it is. All merchants have merchant codes that tell the type of merchant they are whether a retail store, gas station, hotel, etc. That could give you a clue.
Yellow pages .com says it could be a Realtor in Dallas. Let us all know what you find out. Good job finding out right away by staying on top of your charges regularly not just once a month!
Could it be a resturant or nightclub?
I did a quick Google search and found there's a band with that name. Perhaps they ordered from the band's website?
