Check out Dollar Tree...
Does anyone know where I can get inexpensive helium balloons (they blow them up for me) for my kids birthday party? I knew of a great store that had 3 for $1.00, off of Alma and Legacy. They closed. I really don't want to spend a whole lot but if someone knows of a good place besides Party City I would appreciate it.
I went with Walmart b/c they are the closest. They charge .50 cents each for balloons if you bring them in and .69 cents each for them to do it. Not bad and it still beats Party City. Thank you all.
Better yet I called another Walmart even closer and they said if I buy them they will only charge me .25 cents to fill them. Even better.

I believe Garden Ridge has them quite a bit cheaper than Party City, but I don't know how much.
I second the Dollar Tree post. They don't have a ton to choose from, but they have several mylar balloons that are $1 each.
i buy them from walmart in pakcs and take them to a grovery store to have them blown up, its usually pretty cheap and some Walmart's will do it to back in the layaway dept.
Both Wal-Mart and Albertsons have them in the floral department. I usually go the day before the party and pick out the colors that I want and how many and place my order. You can even request what colors you want for the curling ribbon strings.
One thing I do a lot is get one of those do it your self helium balloon kits in a box from Sams (find it by the floral isle) you can get up to aprox 50 helium balloons for like around 15.00-19.00. If you need pary favors let me know!
