Hello!

It's a tradition at my husband's place of work to send in some baked goods or treats of some sort when announcing a pregnancy of an employee or spouse.

With my first, I made cake balls (that was a lot of work!) and am looking for suggestions this time around! It is mainly for a bunch of guys. I'm thinking of avoiding cookies since recently I sent some of those in.

Thanks!

What can I do next?

Super easy, super popular are the "magic cookie bars" the recipe's on the back of the sweetened condensed milk cans and the back of the nestle choc chip bags - they're amazing, super super delish and really easy.
you need one can of sweetened condensed milk, a bag of flaked cocconut, a bag of chocolate chips, graham cracker crumbs and I think that's it. Big hit! They are too easy yet seem "fancy".

How about a pickle tray? You can put sweet pickles, dills, bread & butter, etc. You know, the pickle craving thing. You could also add some summer sausage/crackers to the mix because guys just love that stuff.

How about cupcakes with some pink and some blue frosting..or just all white frosting with some pink and some blue fancy sprinkles?

My hubby is of the opinion unless its chocolate with chocolate frosting..its a useless treat! Simple "man treat" to him! SO thats what I would do... Most choc/choc with some sort of pink/blue simple decoration that shows thru..and a few white ones for those who do not like chocolate!

Congrats!

How about popcorn? You can buy different colored chocolates (pink/blue) Pop some popcorn (microwaveable stuff is fine), melt the chocolate (one color at a time of course) over medium heat (stirring often). When it's melted pour in the popcorn and mix it around. Place it on some wax paper and let it cool, then break it apart into bite size pieces. yummy, easy... You can do all kinds of colors for occasions and holidays. It's soooo good.
