Hi all - hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend! I've just been asked to bring a baked good for a school evening event which is next Mon 9/12. Anyone have good ideas for something that goes with pizza? Making bread is not an option - I'm looking for possibly a good dessert? Or any other suggestions! I would love to possibly make it this week (possibly tomorrow?) or next weekend. Also, I'd be dropping off this item on Monday in the am before leaving for work. Thanks so much in advance! :)

What can I do next?

I know the pizza places around here serve brownies or cinnamon rolls with icing for desert. Those would both be baked goods and could be done ahead of time.

When we've been to a pizza place it's usually been brownies, or cinnamon sugar twists.

I associate chocolate chip cookies with pizza. If you think that is too sweet to go with pizza, you could do shortbread.

I did small fruit kabobs with yogurt dip.

If it has to be a baked item brownie pizza. I usually top just baked brownies with mini marshmallows and drizzle with a large melted chocolate bar.

Maybe too messy for a school event, but how about Ice cream sundaes? You coiuld provide ice cream and all the toppings - including sprinkles, of course!

My thought was fruit pizza! A basic baked sugar cookie crust, baked and chilled, with a sweetened cream cheese topping spread over the top (8oz cream cheese and 1/3 cup sugar, to taste, creamed together) then topped with fresh cut fruit. just wrap in plastic wrap and keep chilled, then cut when you want to eat it.

what about a dessert pizza? cookie mix or chocolate graham crust and mini marshmellows, choc chips and ribbons of caramel sauce or chocolate sauce? or pie crust with bits of fruit and a thin powdered sugar frosting drizzle?
