Do I think you should go to nursing school? NO.
Do I think you should take the one class that you need to graduate? ABSOLUTELY. I know it won't be easy but it's just for a short period of time, and the benefit is worth it.
hello, thinking about going back to school. I have one more class micro bio to graduate, and start my nursing program. I have twin daughters 23 months old. Can I do it ? really doubting myself, big time. But as the economy is going never know if we will need another paycheck. Plus having children now makes it even more important. Did I mention this is a hard class?

Do take the one class and get the degree. If it is hard, get a tutor or make a study group of people in the class. If you know a high school teacher, ask for the latest ways to study for science classes.
Nurses are currently highly sought professionals. Getting into nursing school can be hard because the demand is higher than the slots available in the schools. Look into the process to see whether there is a waiting list.
One great thing about nursing is that you can move anywhere in the country and quite likely can find a job. Incredible job security in today's world.
If you plan to have a career and you have the personality and smarts for nursing, I'd go for it. See whether you can go part-time to nursing school for a while.
I wish I didn't have to work full-time, but I would always want to work at least part-time. It actually feels like "me time" while I'm at work. I enjoy the stimulation. I'd love to hear what you decide.
I think the class is more than a reasonable goal. I would also like to mention we hire a new CRNA a month so it is a field that is hiring. Granted a CRNA is an advanced nursing degree but I would imagine it trickles on down.
You can do it! I waited and waited for the right time to go back to school, there is no perfect time, just do it and remember you are preparing to support your self and children in the future, Good luck!
