Back Fat... Blah. 28 Weeks Pregnant

I have gotten quite heavy through my midsection and have never been this "fatty". I have gone from a 32 A to a 34 DD in 28 weeks and though in the chest area it isn't too fatty right below it between my chest and love handles (haha) I have gotten really fatty there. It looks soo bad under my tshirts b/c it seems like my bra is pushing down on the fat and creating big handles on my back under the bra area. I was just remeasured this last week at Victoria Secret and had the consultant check all my bras to make sure they fit appropriately, but I still do not like this back fat.

What exercise is safe to help work off this extra fattiness in this area? I walk 1 to 2 miles a days currently. Any suggestions would be grateful.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, that is where you are carrying weight for this pregnancy. There isn't much you can do to spot reduce at this point. My best suggestion would be to keep exercising, eating well and look for shirts that aren't so clingy. T-shirts can def. exaggerate what's going on.

It's very tough to gain weight and have it hanging around when you aren't used to it. But this is a very short time in your life and you are growing a little one. Go out and get yourself a couple of super cute tops that make you feel pretty!

I was 100-105 lbs. when I got pregnant with both of mine. My back is exactly where I gained my pregnant weight for both of my pregnancies. I also had a big fat hunch at the top of back/base of my neck - hated it! There isn't much you can do to reduce that, sorry. Just keep eating right and exercising. It will go away! Mine did.

I completely agree w/ Dori and right now is not a good time start a new work out. Along w/ the walking you could add some yoga a lot of places offer a class for pregnant women. Go shopping find some cute tops that are clingy before you know it your baby will be here and you will be able to exercise and get back into the shape you want to be in.

Girl I'm a few weeks behind you, and all I can say is you rock! forget about the roll, it will go away when baby comes, and just focus on the fact that at 28 weeks you can still walk two miles a day. If I even tried that my feet would be the size of hams.

sit and stand as straight as you can. When I was pregnant they were bigger than normal because It hurt to have my back straight so the bra would push down more. It sucked. Wear baggy shirts and sit up straight. Only thing you can do. Just know that it will go away soon.
