Hello all! I am looking for a GOOD back doctor in McKinney or Allen. I have a slipped disc in my lower back and it is really starting to give me some trouble. My doctor told me I need to find a good back specialist...so anybody with experience in this area, PLEASE HELP! Thanks in advance for your help ladies!

We have seen several Dr's there and have always been pleased. They are not "surgery" happy and they go all routes before the surgery route.

Plano Orthopedic and sports medicine they have a pain specialist as well as back docs.
Dr. Bob Viere at Baylor was recommended to us by a pediatric orthopedic doctor at Scottish Rite. He said that Dr. Viere is the orthopedic doctor for all the physicians at Scottish Rite who have back problems...isn't that a good recommendation or what? We have not gone to him yet though.
