Does anyone know if it's safe to buy this now? I tossed all my recalled ones & got a refund. I heard it's not supposed to be bought until McNeil cleans up their act...literally. However, my daughter is supposed to get a vax tomorrow & I'm wondering what I should buy in case she gets a fever from it.

What can I do next?

My kiddos are sick so I just went to the store for Tylenol and Mortin. Around here those 2 aren't even on the shelves anymore. Can't find them anywhere. I called the dr, she said to stick with the store generic. That seems strange to me, but the generics worked just fine ;-)

On a side note, I don't know if I just got a bum dropper, but the Target tylenol dropper totally sucks!!

the generic is still fine to buy and take. in fact, i myself just took some (easier to control doses for me during pregnancy! lol)

its not safe yet -- buy a generic. i bought target brand and it worked great to help w/ fever, pain, etc. when my baby was sick. i'd never used generics before so i was wary but it was a great eye opener! now i'm tempted to buy generics for everything ;) oh and also, some people mentioned ibuprofen (motrin) but thats also recalled so even if you go down that route, get generic :)

Generic works good. I've used the Target brand, CVS and Walgreens. I prefer Ibuprofen as well. I'm sorry to ask a question to your question but how do you go about getting a refund? I have quite a few bottles that were recalled, and it is expensive. A friend told me to hold on to them and get a refund but she or I didn't know how to go about it. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance for your time.

tylenol depletes glutathione which is needed to detox the body especially after a vaccination. i have an autistic son and i never give tylenol, only motrin.

Get the generic kind. Most major stores have their own brand. It works just as well as the name brand stuff, but is a lot cheaper. Stores around here aren't even carrying the name brand stuff yet.

When I went looking for Tylenol and found it recalled, the pharmacist suggested using Ibuprofen and said that it was a 'better' drug anyway.

Not sure about the vaccines specifically, but generic tylenol is supposed to be ok...I don't think the name brand tylenol is safe to buy yet...we were able to find some at Target here in VA, but pretty much everyone else was out...

I bought generic Tylenol from Walmart. The generic products are still available.
