Baby's Only Organic Toddler Formula

I am interested in using this formula. I want to use an organic formula and the only 2 I can find is this one and Earth's Best which apparently has "toxic hexane" due to the way they extract their DHA/ARA. Anyways, my question is the formula is for "toddlers" and it says to use for babies under the direction of a pediatrician. Has anyone used this formula for their baby and how do you measure it for babies? Also, if any of you have any suggestions on other organic formulas? I am not interested in making my own baby formula

What can I do next?

Hi,
When I was reading up on this formula about a year ago, I "Googled" it and found lots of stuff from folks that had actually used it. Try that--most people said it was good! Glad you put the bit about not interested in making your own; I was going to suggest that next! :) I gave two of my children goat's milk and it worked like a charm!

I use Baby's Only Soy and it's great. My daughter's been using it since about 2 mo and she is now 11 mo. She's done very well on it...she weighs 22 lbs! I compared labels and it has the same minerals, vitamins etc... as the other leading formulas. So I am confident it was completely safe to give my infant, as many others have.
I purchase through diapers.com and pay $65 for a case of 6 cans. It comes with a scoop (the Soy anyway) for measuring. It's your standard 1 scoop = 2oz

I used Baby's Only with my son beginning when he was 3 or 4 months old, for the same reasons you are looking into it now. I wrote to the company and specifically asked them about the "Toddler Formula" label, because although my pediatrician looked at it and confirmed that it has all the vitamins and calories that a baby needs, we were both concerned about the "toddler" label (especially since most toddlers don't need formula!). They wrote back and said they used this label because breastfeeding is the best food for your baby in his first 12 months of life. I get it, but for those of us who were unable to breastfeed, it's not very helpful! Anyway, they sent me the nutritional facts so that I could look it over for myself, and I liked what I saw. I also really like that their cans and scoops are BPA free. (Did you know that standard formula not only contains hexane, but that most containers contain BPA??? It's nuts!) I liked the formula a lot - my son is very healthy and active and in the 50s for his weight percentile. If I have to use formula again with my next baby, I will use Baby's Only again. Good luck.

I've been using this formula with my son for the last two months and it's worked really well. We haven't had any problems. If you are currently breastfeeding, you might want to start mixing it in slowly (doing 3/4 breastmilk, 1/4 formula) and working your way up. The measurements are on the can - 1 scoop for every 2 ounces of water. I've found it's cheaper to buy direct from the manufacturer. Hope that helps!
