Baby Proofing Oval-shaped Door Knobs

We have oval shaped door knobs on all of our doors. I have searched everywhere for a solution to keep my toddler from opening our doors to no avail. The regular shaped door knob covers fit; however, they do not prevent our little one from opening the door. Have you had this problem? Any solutions out there? Thanks!!

What can I do next?

We have some that are by Safety first that you actually have to take the door handle apart. and put the pieces on. The piece has a slide that you can move over to prevent the little one from being able to move the door knob. They might work for your doors.

For all of the doors we didn't want our little ones opening, we put eyehook hardware at the tops of the doors. Very inexpensive - just drill two small holes and screw the hook and eye in. Even did this on doors leading outside so there were no escapes. Good luck!

I have heard that using a rubber band to cover the handle works. I imagine this would work if your toddler doesn't have a tight grip on those handles.

I'm interested in seeing the aforementioned Safety First handle slides.

I work for a company that sells door knobs. That is an egg shaped knob. Look on the door where the latch, part that retracts into door and jamb, and see what company name is printed on it. You can go online then and either get their # or contact them and they may know or have what you need. Feel free to contact me if you need a number.
You can also put a flush bolt at the top to keep the door from opening.
