E.D.
Have you considered Clara Jean? Clara means clear. Clarity is a wonderful quality to have.
I like Vera Jean and Joanna Jean also.
Just a quick baby name vote, please!
We are due in June with a baby girl. Her middle name will likely be Jeanne (pronounced Jean - family name) depending on which name is selected. Her big brother's name is Henry...
Lorelei
Vera
Anna
Julie (or Julia, or some form of the name!)
Claire
Joanna
Ellen
Carolyn
Either a vote or a few in order of preference would be appreciated, thanks!
Thanks so much for all of your opinions! So far, I think my faves are Anna, Lorelei, and Vera. Husband is not so on board with Vera. I will let you all know when we settle in on a winner. Thanks again!

I like Vera Jean and Joanna Jean also.
No J names (since the middle name is a J) and no one-syllable names. I love Lorelei, but I can see Vera or Anna (even Carolyn) working with Jeanne. If you love Claire, what about naming her Clara Jeanne, and then calling her Claire?
I have a Claire :) It does not go with Jeanne though. Clara Jeanne is pretty. If not, i vote Anna.
Carolyn Jeanne
Juliana Jeanne
Clara Jeanne (adds a second sylable)
I like your original idea .... Lorelei
1st: Anna
2nd: Vera
3rd: Lorelei
Anna Jeanne sounds great and I like Anna & Henry as kids (AJ for short is also cool)
Congrats!
Lorelei for sure. But don't let us decide. You will know when she is born what name fits.
And this is from an Ellen :-)
i like vera jeanne it flows nicely, anna jeanne too
I like Vera... easy to spell, goes well with Jeanne, not too common, not weird. Love it!
My daughter is Anna, so I'm partial to that name. But I also really like Vera - "Vera Jeanne" sounds really nice.
Anna Jeanne
Clara Jeanne
I like Claire but I think it flows better to have another syllable since Jeanne is one syllable.
Say Claire Jeanne and then say Clara Jeanne. Hmm...... I think by just changing it a bit, the 2 names flow so nicely. I don't care for a J name for her first name if you are going with a J name for her middle name.
I like Lorelei and Anna.
I love the name Claire, but it doesn't go with Jeanne. How about Clara Jeanne? I think Joanna, Carolyn, Anna, and Juliet(or Julia) are my faves. The only ones I don't really care for are Ellen (reminds me of Ellen Degeneres, which is not a bad thing but that is what people with immediatly think of and your baby is an original!) and Vera. Sounds old.
I have a Henry too!
My favorites are
Lorelei Jeanne
Carolyn Jeanne
I like some of the others too, but not as well with the middle name.
I like Vera Jeanne. It flows nicely. I would avoid the J names that will cause someone to get tongue tied.
No "J" names.
Claire maybe. Or Carolyn.
I don't care for the other names, with the "Jeanne" middle name.
Will the "Anna" name... be pronounced as "AHna" or "Anna" (as in the 'a' in apple?)
I love Vera Jeanne !
Anna is the only one to me that sounds good with Jeanne..And it's my favorite anyway! I like Caroline with Jeanne but not Carolyn, and Clara with Jeanne but not Claire. And I like then: joanna, Julia, and Lorelei, but only Lorelei with Jeanne. You could call Anna Jeanne AJ :)
You didn't ask for any new names but I think Victoria Jeanne sounds pretty. I'm biased b/c I have a Victoria. We call her Tori. Doesn't Tori Jeanne sound cute?
But if I had to vote on one of the names you provided, I like Anna :)
I personally love the name Lorelei.
Are you saying that Jeanne will be the middle name only depending on the first name?
Naming a baby can be so hard.
My favorite is Lorelei Jeanne.
Best wishes.
I love the name Anna. I would have used it as a middle name for my daughter but didn't want her initials to be SAC, so we didn't.
Second choice from the list would be Carolyn.
I like the names Claire and Julie, but don't think they flow well with Jeanne.
I think a 2 syllable name goes better with a single syllable middle name. So that would knock out all the singe names.
My friend named her daughter XXX-XXX Jeanne-Anne, using 4 names. Took in lots of family names.
I don't like the J-J name, Julie Jeanne...just not a fan.
I do like the combination of Lorelei and Henry though. Maybe Caroline and Henry.
Anna very cute name!
For me, it's a question of syllables. All of the names are beautiful, but I wouldn't choose Claire, just because Claire and Jean both have only one syllable. My favorite is Lorelei Jean. Love it. Congratulations!
Claire and Anna. My daughters name is Annabel Claire. Love those names. Also to add my daughters grandmother's name was Clara Jean and thats why I changed my daughters middle name to claire instead of clara since it went better with Annabel.
I like Lorelei just because it's not a name you hear often. I'm one of those that name my kids peculiar names, LOL. We usually decide based on name meaning too.
Lorelei would be my first choice, second would be Anna, and third Ellen
Loving Vera Jeanne! Especially because it's less common. Nothing worse than having several other kids in your class with the same name! Mine was #1 for awhile.
Anna Jeanne sounds classy.
second vote for Vera !
I work at a elementary school and so I hear the same names all the time..... for that reason I like the Lorelei :)
Anna, Julia, Claire, Ellen, and Carolyn are very popular names
Love Lorelei. I am due in August and I liked this name too, but my husband voted no. :(
Next favorite in your list would be Claire.
Good Luck and Congrats!
Since we have a middle name-that helps narrow it down for me.
Vera Jeanne sounds best, imo.
My 2nd runner up would be Anna.
HTH!
I think Anna Jeanne is lovely!
haven't gone through all these answers yet, but with Jeanne as a middle
name, my vote would be Anna Jeanne. Good luck!!
I like Lorelei but honestly, it seriously reminds of Gilmore Girls!! ;)
I like Claire, but not so much with Jeanne, I think I might like Ellen the best. It just seems so sweet and sounds adorable with Henry...these are my kids Henry and Ellen! :) Cute!
I like Julie Jeanne.
i like joanna jeanne .. if your looking for a name that will have a nickname she can be JJ
ANY "C" name... and she can be CJ for short
My vote would be Lorelei Jeanne, I think that goes together the best. Lorelei is not a name you hear very often either. Next would be Joanna Jeanne or Carolyn Jeanne. Vera Jeanne or Anna Jeanne would be alright I guess, but I don't think they flow as well. Claire Jeanne, Julie Jeanne, Ellen Jeanne I don't think sound good together. Choosing a name can be the hardest part, so Good Luck!
#1 Vera
#2 Claire (or Claira?)
Julie....for sure!!!
Lorelei Jeanne
Ellen Jeanne
I agree with JessinTexas about having a two or more syllable first name since the middle name is one. It just rolls off the tongue better, IMO. My favorites on your list in order of preference are: Julia (or Julianna Jeanne sounds good), Ellen and Carolyn. Good luck!
A.
I agree with the others who said more than one syllable sounds better.
Any of the names with an -a at the end sound good to me. I really like Lorelei but not so much with Jeanne.
#1 Julianna Jeanne
Joanna Jeanne
Anna Jeanne
Vera Jeanne
I like Anna Jeanne or Carolyn Jeanne. Of course I am most partial to Julia or J. (Julia is my real name -always called J. though). Congratulations!
#1. Anna
#2. Claire.
I prefer two or more syllables for the first name since the middle is only one syllable. So my favorite is Anna or Vera. I like Joanna as well, since it has a variety of 'nicknames' - Jo, Anna, JoAnn, Annie, Jo-Jo.
I don't like Ellen, mainly b/c I detest Ellen Degerese (sp wrong I know. Sorry) and that's the first thing that pops into my head when I see "Ellen"
And if you go with Claire, which I don't hate, but it's not my favorite - You can also spell it Clair w/o the E and it'd be a bit more unique, yet not crazy-spelling like some names now-adays.
My favorite is Anna. I'd stick with a two syllable name.
Are you going to call her xjeanne?
I have never seen the first name. Is is pronounced Laura Lee?
Vera Jeanne flows the best to me.
Julia is my first choice and then Claire.
Take Care!
