Hi, I am 34 weeks pregnant. My doctor recommended that I contact a chiropractor that specializes in pregnancy related therapy to help turn the baby from the breech position. My doctor recommended a specific chiropractor. However, that chiropractor is not covered under my Atena insurance.

Do you have any recommendations of a chiropractor who specializes in turning breech babies? Or do you have suggestions of things I could try at home to help the baby to turn?

What can I do next?

My son was breech in utero for a long time and I started to worry. My OB advised me to try a simple technique that was non-invasive. She told me to lie down on my back with 1 or 2 pillows under my hips so that the top of my back was on the bed/ground and my hips were slightly elevated. I did this while watching TV, reading, etc. for a few weeks and my son ended up turning the correct way and delivering naturally. It helped me and there's no harm in trying this method. Just make sure you are comfortable. It actually was a very relaxing position for me. Good luck!

Hello, my baby was breached as well. I went to chiropractor for about 3 weeks that was specialized but didn't help. I am small frame 4'11" and baby was 7/11 when I had him. Throughout my pregnancy my son didn't move much.....i guess he really didn't have room. I was scheduled c-section Monday and the Thursday before I had tried a version(twice at the same time) and didn't work. People were telling me not to do it because it hurt. So I waited as long as I could before the c-section and I wished I would have tried early then maybe he would had more room. anyways the next day went in for check up at noon and dr. said i had to have him right now because their was no fluid. So at 3 I had him c-section. Call me if you like ###-###-#### and I can share more.

My chiropractor only charged $45 per visit for my session. I did a total of 3 and my baby flipped after the last one. I have no idea if she would have done it on her own or not, but to me it was worth paying out of pocket to try. I'm in McKinney if you need me to get the chiropractor's number for you. Good luck.
