So I'm having twins, (boy and girl. Their names are Korann & Kendra) So what are some good color ideas? ( They're sharing a room)

P.S. My wedding isn't until August 22nd. And I'm honeymooning in Hawaii! (For the moms who asked!)

What can I do next?

I like tan/beige/browns, adding pink to the girl's side of the room/crib and adding greens (earthy olive greens) to the boy's side of the room/crib.

If you are more "Bold" then you could always do primary colors all over - red, yellow, blue, and green. Girly polka-dots on her side, Boyish stripes or solids on his side.

I don't remember where I read it, but in a magazine last week a designer said he likes lavender, for girls and boys. when decorating a nursery. He used a light-medium green with it.

Personally I would go with eggshell, khaki and/or brown, with bright pink and bright blue accents.

I'd go for blue,or yellow. We painted the nursery yellow both when my son was a baby and again for my daughter (in a new house, but with the same bedding & decor). Pottery Barn has some really cute "his and hers" bedrooms that might give you some good inspiration.

Green or yellow are always my favorites! Also a tan or beige and white would be pretty too.

I think it would be fun to do something different than the usually yellow, browns and greens. There are so many new, cute baby decor out there that would be great for twin boy and girl. Like what about black and white, like the damask print? Or what about doing blue walls but then having accent pink. Like a pink and blue bedding for the girl crib and blue and white bedding for the boy crib. They could each have a shelf above their crib with accent colors on it. Like dark blues and whites on the boys with pink and white on the girls. Or what about gray tones? Gray is so popular right now. Like a Gray and yellow nursery or you could do gray, white and pink.

I have heard on the news that a yellow room can make a baby more fussy . . . the same way as a blue room can suppress an appetite. So I would avoid yellow walls and use as an accent if wanted. I really like the brights for childrens' rooms. I think that turquoise and orange are great colors for both genders!

My son and daughter share a room and I did the walls in light yellow and light green. My daughter's bedding is mostly light green. The curtains are stripes - red, blue, yellow, green (different size stripes) and its the same fabric as my son's dust ruffle. My son's sheets are red, and his comforter is dark blue and light blue.

I know - sounds terrible now that I write it - but It does look cute.

I like chocolate brown adn cream accents with Tangerine or a bright Turquoise. One color palette for both the boy and girl.

My favorite color is blue, so I'd do that even for a girl. :)
