Baby Dreams

This is more JFF but I had to ask because it was crazy.

I had a dream that I had had a little boy but now he was between 2-3. He was so precious and so cute. The little boy was crying out to me and wanting me crying "mama! mama!" My DH was trying to console the little boy but he wanted me. I scooped him up and held him so close and said "I want to be with you". End of dream.

Now #1, we are not trying for a baby right now. Totally off the radar.

#2, Ive had baby dreams before but nothing this intense, like I felt like I knew him. Even this morning, I feel like I can still feel where I held him, like I can feel him in my arms.

I do have pretty vivid dreams but this one really through me for a loop.

Anyone else out there having baby dreams?

So What Happened?

I had another dream last night! This time I dreamed I had a little baby but I lost it, and couldn't find it! I was heart broken. This is craziness! I think DH and I need to be very careful...

I've had dreams where I am pregnant and I can feel the baby move. my "baby" will be 13 (years!!) next month.
And I have had dreams where I have a 4 or 5 year old, always a girl, with blond curly hair, bright blue eyes, pink "foo-foo" dress, sweetest little voice, if I think hard enough I can hear it, small perfect hands.
Both my "real-life" kids are brown hair brown eyes (I'm Hispanic) but if I dream about my "third" baby, its always that little blond girl. and she even has a smell, its a sweet smell and I swear I can smell it in the morning.

It is strange. I've often wondered............
I will add (lol) My husband is hispanic as well, were in the middle of a messy separation, NO WAY would I ever have another child with him, but this Blond Girl, I wonder if she is my hope of a brighter future, a "fresh" start?
When I dream of her my husband is not there.

Before I had my two boys, I had a very vivid dream about a little girl, about 10-12 months, toddling and holding on to my fingers down the hall in our house. She had dark curls and dark eyes, I can still picture it. I have to say, it does make me think about that third baby sometimes! Both my boys have light eyes and just a little curl.

When I was pregnant with my first I had a dream that I gave birth to the baby in parts, like a puzzle, and had to assemble him before I could take him home! Weird how the brain works.

I'm definitely done with child bearing, but I dream vividly about having a baby or toddler when I'm working on projects sometimes. It's completely symbolic and I always have a great laugh when I wake up and realize my brain has done it again.
Where I am right now, I wouldn't raise another baby if someone offered me a million dollars.

Dreams are about 90% symbolic. Occasionally we dream something from our own desires but dreams of having a baby or being pregnant signify God birthing something new in your life or ministry or if it is a baby it is something in your life that needs your attention and needs to be nurtured.

I had some baby dreams when my son was wee tiny. For years, though, I have had toddler/kid dreams-- but I worked with children for a long time, and so I'm guessing it was just my brain processing my day....
