I make my own baby food. I have a little $10 chefmate processor which I used to think was sufficient until I saw the commercials for the Baby Bullet, now Im intrigued! Does anyone have this and think I need it? It looks really cool! It comes with tons of stuff.

OMG, I just looked at the website. I have the baby bullet processor - it's fine, a little easier to scrape out than my mini cuisinart but nothing special. I have never seen all the bells and whistles. I did fine with ice cube trays for freezing portions of food and a sharpie for writing the date on the zip lock bags I put the cubes into. It looks cute but I would say not necessary (for me anyway).

It looks AWESOME! I would just get a regular one and then buy some BPA free tupperware or something like that. This way you could make yourself a you size smoothie or something:D

It is awesome. My mom got it for me at my shower and I seriously love it. It has a little booklet with all sorts of information- like what foods to try at what times, what does well with each other, etc. I really really like it.

Apparently it has really bad reviews online, BUT, from my friends personal experience, she love love LOVES IT. She's been making her own baby food for about 6 months using the baby bullet; she loves all the stuff it came with; she even freezes some of the pieces, and everything is dishwasher safe :) I would have bought one if it was out when my youngest was still eating baby food!! I kind of want one just because it's super cute ;)

When I saw the ads on TV my thought was "They just changed the Magic Bullet up a bit to entice moms to spend money on one more thing they don't really need. The original Magic bullet works just fine." I have the original Magic Bullet and made baby food with it for my son.
For the $59.95 plus $20 shipping and handling you can go to the store and buy an original Magic Bullet along with a new spatula and some ice cube trays for freezing. If you do this, you don't have to wait on the shipping time. You will get to use it the same day you buy it. ;)
Also, if you buy and original Magic Bullet you will have all the accessories to you use later. I love mine for milk shakes and shredding meat along with many other things.
My advice to you is to purchase an original Magic Bullet and a few things you want to use to freeze and store the baby food. The original will be much more useful for much longer.
I hope this helps and that you enjoy whatever you decide to do. (Whichever machine you decide to get.)

I have the regular Magic Bullet, and I find it sufficient for making baby food, but I must admit that the Baby Bullet looks pretty cool too! If it wouldn't be too redundant with all the storage stuff, I'd get it.
