I received a blanket for my son from an in-law out of state and it has become his favorite blanket. I wanted to find another one as a back up in case his current one gets too worn out. I have looked on line and at Babies R' Us with no luck, so I thought I would ask other moms if they have seen it.
It's light blue on one side and dark blue on the other. It's a fleece type material and has the raised "dots" on the light blue side. It also has a whale on one corner. Has anyone seen this blanket or know where I can get one?

why dont you take a picture and post it on craigslist..
search on ebay too.
luckily my son picked a favorite blankie that I could buy extras of at any store..

Not sure where you can get another one like that, but I would strongly reccomend doing it. My daughter is 7, she still has her "blanky" from when she was about the same age as your son. It is in about 4 or 5 pieces! I call them "rags" they are in terrible condition. They have been washed a million times, it doesn't matter cause they have been so used and abused. I think the biggest piece is about 12 x 12. It's kind of funny, cause she is old enough to tease about the condition of this "blanky". Good luck!
try target i think i saw something like that there but you are wise to try to get an other one my son is 9 and has a plaid blanket that when you look at it you see mostly blue and i could not find an other one so this blanket has holes and is thin but he still loves hi blue b good luck on finding one
