The Spring Vally Y is Beautiful! There is a ton to do The only down fall is the price. It's quite pricy for a family membership. I'm not sure if the Pheonxiville Y is the same or not
Does anyone belong to Aubodon, Phoenixville, or Spring Valley YMCA? I am thinking about joining for fitness, childrens programs, and also the outdoor pools. Any input? Thanks in advance for replying!

Hi A., I also live in Pville and have belonged to the Y for at least 3 years. I love it! We mostly go to the Pville Y, and I have heard the outdoor pool at Spring Valley is great, we've only been to Pvilles outdoor pool. The babysitting is great! Love that I can work out and have baby sitting. I could go on and on. This is my first YMCA experience, before kids I belonged to swanky clubs and we have been very pleased. If you would like to meet we could, I have a 4 1/2 yr old, and a 8 month old.
Hi A.,
I also live in Phoenixville and I have two children who attend daycare at the Phoenixville YMCA. We have also taken swimming lessons there in the indoor pool. Because my kids are in the Y's daycare, they have a full membership (included in the price), but my husband and I don't have memberships. I don't have any complaints about the Y and they do have a lot of children's programs. I think they also offer free babysitting while you work out. You can also go visit them and I think they give a couple of free passes for you and the family to try it out. Have fun!
My DH is actually going to Spring Valley Y for physical therapy and we took a tour of it. It's $80 a month for a family membership. They have GREAT facilities and I would definitely recommend it. It's the biggest Y on the east coast. I'm sure it gets pretty crowded though. but, their childwatch program is awesome $1 an hour. You can't beat that!!
