Currently I have TWC and they SUCK!!! I'm looking to switch to AT&T U-Verse. Does anyone have that service and have tvs in their house that doesn't have a box? Right now we have 4 tvs but only 1 box and the 3 other tvs work fine just don't get the DVR capabilities or any channel over 100. Also, do you have any issues or complaints about the service?

WE love Uverse at my house too, but there is a MAJOR catch to recording 4 shows at once. If you have an High Definition TV like we do, then you can only record 2 HD shows at one time. If you don't care about HD then u can record 4 shows. Which I was kinda disappointed becuz after having HD for so long it really stinks to have to watch something thats not in HD! Just thought i would mention it. And one other thing if ur getting the internet. We used to be w/Charter and had 3mbs speed, so when I switched to AT&T the bundle pack gave me a deal to upgrade to the Max Speed of 12mbs(now they have up to 32 I think) well to be honest I never noticed a difference in the speed at all. Its still the same if u ask me! But now Im paying more for it! So when my contract is up in a yr. I will get rid of the internet for something cheaper!

I have U-verse and I can honestly say I wish I'd stayed with DISH Network. The only positive is the multiple DVR capabilities and that it doesn't go out when it rains. But to be honest, half my recordings have blips or blackout periods, the system has froze up when paused and I've spent lots of time waiting for it to re-establish, and I've had the tech out twice because it just decided not to work (both times they said it was cause the cable was too long or improperly installed, which they did both times). The cost is not worth it. If you go with DISH you can get the $25/mth for 6 months and then add an extra DVR for $5 each. The other thing to consider is which channels do you actually watch. Most shows are online and we are seriously considering just watching ours through the internet connected to our TV. It won't be the day of, but usually within a week of the airing you can get back episodes. The only other good thing is there is no contract with U-verse so you can get in and out without a headache. Hope this helps.

We have a box in every room so I cannot attest to that, but we absolutely LOVE U-Verse. We have had them for years now and have no issues, never loose service and they are always running great deals. The only complaint I have is there specials are always 6 months long, so I always have to mark on my schedule of when to call them to get on a new special but that is not that big of a deal. Would highly recommend them!

Ok, let me first say that I sooooo agree about TWC. Don't even get me started about their crappy service and products. Anyways...we now have Uverse and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I'm not sure about the boxes but I know with our last company we had 2 TVs and 1 box and now we have 2 boxes.

We have had the service for 2.5 years and we love it. We have 3 tvs in our house and there is 1 main box with receivers on all tvs that get all the same channels. You can set to record from any tv and playback recordings on any tv. We also have our wireless internet through them and have loved it too. We have not had too many problems with the service, but they work hard to resolve the problems, they even sent someone out to reset our system when doing it over the phone didn't work. Good luck.

We've been very pleased with UVerse, with no real problems or complaints. The only thing I didn't like was when we switched from Dish we were told that EVERYTHING would be exactly the same (as far as features) and we would get more (record up to 4 shows at a time). Well, when they installed everything, we discovered that our secondary TV did NOT have the option to pause/rewind live TV. You CAN record and watch/rewind DVR programs, but not live TV (we did have all the features on the primary TV however). It's not been a big deal though because we don't use that TV as much for live TV anyway, so it hasn't been a problem, that was just the only feature we lost in the transition. I would definitely recommend the service.

We have had U-verse for a little over 3 years. We love it!!!! Right now we have just internet and cable. Our bill is about $175 for both but we have U450 which includes all the movie channels and all HD channels. Our internet is the fastest available. We have had very few problems. The only ones we have had is that when my husband is playing ps3 online and the cable is going in the other room, it can lag if my computer is on or may not work at all. I called them and they set up my laptop with another isp(???) and now it has no problem. My brother in law was living with us for a few months and when the ps3 was going and he was playing wow online, they were throttling our bandwidth. He did ping and proved it and they said it wasn't them. We get the dvr for free and pay $5 a month for the extra box in the bedroom. When we move next month, I will probably cut down on both, but will still use them.

We had U-Verse and were happy with it, until our year contract was up and they constantly raised our rates with no notice. Our bill (for tv, internet and phone) went from 100 to 175 in a few short months. And when we called to ask about it they told us it would continue to go up and we should have gotten a letter about it, which we conveniently never got. We still use AT&T for internet but we canceled the phone and TV. It was just too much for us. The plus side was being able to record 4 shows, and the cable didn't go out during storms like other companies with dishes tend to do. But you will have a box with every TV.

We Looooooooooooove Uverse!! You can record up to 4 shows at once, the dvr works for all rooms with one box. You can only record from the main tv, but you can watch any recorded show on any tv in the house. It's great for my 9 year old. I record her shows for her so that she can watch them at her approved tv times and not have to miss them. We've had it for a couple of years now and havn't had to call them about ANY issue.
