Hi Moms! I have a son 13 and daughter 7 and am on vacation at home all next week. Does anyone have some advice for some fun day trips in the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex?

What can I do next?

The Heard Museum in McKinney is nice. It has hiking paths through prairie and marsh lands. Vary in length from 1 to 3 miles. Can see ducks, turtles, and a variety of birds. Also has a museum with shells, jewels, and dinosaur bones on display. You can find out more at this link: http://www.heardmuseum.org/
