I am helping out with a school fundraiser. My child's class is putting together an Arts and Craft themed basket to raffle off. I have rec'd LOTS of donations of the ususal stuff...crayons, markers, paper, colored pencils, paints, art sets, various forms of glue etc. I have $30.00 to spend. I'd like to buy one larger item with this $30.00. I was thinking some sort of paper cutter.

What would you buy?

**I already have gift cards to local craft stores.**

Target has an "artwork display and storage frame". It's not a fancy frame, but it is designed for kids' artwork and it's easy to change the artwork. Once you hang it on the wall, the front of the frame opens easily to change the artwork. Plus there is room in the frame to store some artwork.

multiple forms of glue, glitter glue, & glue pens. Kids go thru that like crazy!

& I will admit the paper cutter is an excellent choice...I use mine frequently!

I love the idea of the edger scissors. How about some sort of handled tote for all the goodies?

When I do a basket, I like to have one larger, flat thing in the back that the rest kind of lean on as a backdrop. How about a small easel or bulletin board to display the upcoming works of art?

My son loves using my paper cutter. Maybe some of those edger scissors. Also Michael's has a lot of cute kits for kids.

hmmm. I know my kids always want my stapler and my hole punch. the paper cutter is good. Maybe just troll the art store and see what grabs you. A frame to put a drawing in??

Another idea would be a crayola kit like the colorwonders kind of thing that would be a big draw because it looks like a toy.
