It seems like every Starbucks I pass has a "help wanted" sign right now. From what I hear (from my cousin) they have decent pay and great benefits!
I stay home with my kids during the day but I would like to find a job at night and weekends or over night. I have been searching for so long and have found nothing. I don't care what it is as long as it's something but I've been having the toughest time! Is anyone else having issues? Money is getting tight around here
I know were/how to look for a job but the pickings are slim! I was just wondering if anyone is experiencing the same thing as me in different parts of the country.

Have you checked at places that are open 24 hours? Wal-Mart, Target, local hospitals, cleaning services that work at night, schools that have 2nd shift janitors just to name a few.
There should be a few companies near you that have 24 hour warehouses. You can get a 3rd shift job pretty easily.
Go to Indeed.com and put in 3rd shift and third shift and your city. You should see a few things pop up.
Good luck!!
I was laid off Feb. 3rd after I had been with the company in scientific sales for 13 years (half of the company was). I have 20 years experience. I used every single day, all day and all night for the career search. I worked with recruiters, interviewed, followed up, made business plans and was very selective where I wanted to be next. I started my new job (even better) nine weeks later. It takes a lot of effort and dedication not just filling out applications and hoping something sticks. Good luck!
Hotels, call centers, etc.
I work from home. If you are interested in info, contact me anytime. I really enjoy my business. My income potential is unlimited, yours can be too, I would be happy to help you launch your own business. This is a great time to get into this business, the company I work with has the best pay plan in the industry.
I haven't been looking for a job, but I know it is tough all over. One thing that I recently heard from a friend is that some small companies are looking for people to update their Facebook pages: respond to postings, type status updates, post sale announcements. I'm guessing that these jobs pay next to nothing, but they are flexible and don't require much time.
If there are any small businesses near you, see if they are on Facebook. If they are not, or if their FB traffic is light, maybe you could contact the business owner and offer to help them drum up FB traffic and publicity.
Good luck to you! I hope you find something soon. It must be discouraging to have not found something yet, despite all of your efforts.
You can work to work a Business in Direct Sales. Look at all the options - I am presntly working with Primerica and making money.
Yup!! Utah has just been getting harder and harder to find a job. I only have 10 weeks left of school so I have just decided to put off searching till I about 2-4 weeks left of school. That way I can get most of my school work done If I do find a full time job that will take me. Good luck!!! The economy still sucks and that suck!!
Like Jennifer I too work from home and would be happy to chat with you about the companies that I am involved with or you can visit my websites.
