Hi! Wow, I didn't realize how much was out there! But I wanted to let you know about one thing that wasn't on the other list - the Renaissance Festival always does an Easter thing. You can buy discount tickets at circle K. Have fun!

Yes, K., I found one event on myclearwater.com, "Easter Eggstravaganza" at Countryside Recreational Center. 2940 Sabal Springs Dr. from 9am to 1pm Saturday March 22. All ages, free. There's a phone number you could reach at for additional information. ###-###-####. Hope this helps!

Hi K., My church is having an egg hunt(everyone invited) this weekend. You can get info at www.baysidecommunity.org

Look on fox 13. They might still have some listed. If not you could do your own Easter Egg Hunt. I did for my girls when they were little. It's lots of fun. Plastic eggs work best with little candies, toys, etc. in them. You could maybe even invite a neighbor or two to make it more fun.....

There is a big Easter Egg Hunt this saturday, the 22nd
at Max Hausse Park from 10am -- noon. It is free for all
ages and I am looking forward to taking my 4 and 6 year
boys. Max Hausse Park is on Golden Gate Boulevard off
of 951 ( Collier Boulevard ).

Not sure where you live but I saw in this morning's paper (Venice Herald Tribune) that there are a bunch scheduled for this coming Sat. There's one @ Centennial Park (downtown Venice) 9-11 am; 9am @ Grace United Methodist Church @ 9am; Nokomis Community Center, 10-11 am; Challenger Park 1-3pm.

There is a very fun Easter party/egg hunt at North Lakeland Presbyterian Church on Saturday from 10-12. It's a lot of fun with games and the hunt and lunch(hotdogs) I have 2 kids 5 and 2, and they LOVE it every year. You don't have to dress up and just bring your basket.

Call your local V.F.W., I know the one located in Hernando Beach is having a egg hunt Sat. or Sunday look in local paper on Thur. & Friday, I would think you will see some listed there. Good Luck and Have Fun !!

I believe that the First Baptist of Riverview (on 301 just north of Boyette and south of Riverview Dr) is having theirs on Saturday? You might also check with the Methodist church that is on the corner of 301 and Riverview Drive?

I think alot of the egg hunts are the day before Easter -- check with local churches in your area. Usually it's advertised out front if they are having one.

If you live in the New Tampa area, there's an egg hunt at Grace Episcopal Church at 2:00 on Saturday. It's located right off BBD on Amberly Drive, beside Publix at Tampa Palms.

There is a Children's Easter Party on Saturday from 10 am-Noon at my church on the corner of Downing and Dover Road, Dover, FL. It is the Dover Advent Christian Church. If you do not have a home church our Easter services are:Early Service  8:00am   Joint Sunday School-Light Breakfast   Morning Worship Service  11: am

44th Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Murdock – Pink, yellow, blue, and green. This time of year it could only mean one thing…Easter! Word has it that Peter Cottontail is coming to Franz Ross Park on March 22nd for the 44th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Grab your Easter baskets and hop on down to the football field. The event begins at 9:30am with children’s activities. Egg hunt times and age categories are:

 3 years and under – 10:30am
 4-5 years – 10:45am
 6-7 years – 11:00am
 8-9 years – 11:15am
prize will be given to one child in each age group that finds the “Golden Egg”! This event is lots of fun for the whole family. Parents bring your camera and get a one-on-one photo of your child with Peter Cottontail. All children must be accompanied by an adult and bring their own basket or bag for the hunt.

Port Charlotte United Methodist's fifth annual "Easter Egg-sperience" will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 31. There will be games, crafts, popcorn and more. There will be a traditional egg hunt, and children should bring their bikes, wagons or scooters for the parade.

Discover hidden treasures at Edgewater United Methodist Church's Annual Easter Egg Hunt, set for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22.
