Aubrey has an actual pumpkin patch. The kids and parents go on a short hayride and pick a pumpkin. There is also a little petting zoo. I have not been there in a few years. I think it was about $6 or $7 a person to get in.
I have seen many requests for pumpkin patches in the area. However, being from the east coast, our idea of a pumpkin patch is not pumpkins lined up in the field, but actually growing in that field and being picked from the natural vine. Does anyone know of such a patch within a 1-2 hour drive from North Texas? Thank you so much!!

Hi there, I am from MA so I know what you mean. I believe there is a pumpkin patch in Celinas called Celinas Big Orange Pumpkin Patch www.pumpkinpatchesandmore.org/Pumpkin.php?URL=http%3A%2F%... You may just need to cut and paste into your browser. Good luck!! We're heading there in October so hope it's nice!!!
We've gone to this one for 2 years now and really love it. They have tons of pumpkins, lots of photo ops, a hay ride and bounce houses. It's free too. There's another pumpkin patch next door that charges admission. I've never been to that one, but I'm sure it's fine.

We are going to Mainstay Farm in Burleson on Monday. It is much more authentic than post and the family that runs it is great with kids. Their Christmas Tree Farms are great too.

We are from the east coast too (NJ) and have not been able to find a real pumpkin patch. If you do find one, please post it.
The Henrietta Creek Ranch in Roanoke, TX has pick your own pumpkins and apples in the fall, and in the summer months you can pick your own peaches, tomatoes, peppers, etc.
