So far the best one Iv'e found in the Sac area is Golfland/Sunsplash in Roseville. My 11 daughter loves it there. We have taken her to places like Boomtown (just looking for arcades) and she hated the arcade. We use the arcade as an incentive program for her, she will ask for extra assignments at school etc so that she might get the chance to go to an arcade. But we've taken her to several and she always wants to go back to Golfland/Sunsplash,said they have the best games for all ages...You may enjoy playing mini golf with the 2yr old while he plays arcade games. They also have the water park too, which is a lil pricey but has lots of things the 2 yr old would enjoy. Good Luck...and Wish your man a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY"...

I realize it may be kind of late for my response, but a friend of mine told me about this place called Someplace Fun. However, it is in Galt, but not that far if you live in Elk Grove which is where my friend and I live. She is actually taking our kids tomorrow and said it's only $6 to get in and then they don't have to put any quarters in the video games. They also have stuff for the kids to play on and jump in,but she had mentioned her husband has gone with her kids and loved the unlimited access to the video games. Just thought you might want to check it out or look it up in the phone book to get more info.

There is this really cool place in Rooseville called Incredible John's pizza. It's the closest place to Sac I think. It has REALLY good food and it is buffet! Not too expensive either, what gets you is the games but there is even bumber cars and a twister ride inside the place! I have also heard of Dave and Busters but that is in the bay area some where, I have heard alot if guys like going there for the arcade. Like a adult chuck e cheese, I guess. But the johns place I thought was really cool. happy birthday to your hubby!!M.

I like to take my kids to Scandia off of Hwy 80/Madison Ave. They have a great selection of arcade games as well as go carts, batting cages, and the new ride called "Scream". My children also like to go to Golfland/Sunsplash as well. Either one will be entertaining for your husband. Good luck on your research. And Happy Birthday to him.
